Aminess Grand Azur Hotel

Make sure you visit Korcula using the local foot ferry. Beautiful place where Korcula town is known as the little Dubrovnik. Orebic is only about 15 minutes walk along a coastal walk. Beautiful views all along the pathway. Also visit the nearby church. It is up a steep hill but the views from there are worth it. The hotel provides ample buffet food for all nationalities and the staff are all great. Our only complaint was that coffee and tea only came with breakfast and not other meals. Lunch and dinner meant beer, wine and soft drinks. We couldn't see why coffee and tea wasn't made available for all meals.

A superb hotel in a beautiful location, The food is what you would expect from a hotel catering for many nationalities- plentiful and varied with many combinations of interesting dishes. The staff where friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home from the start of our vacation to the end. The barman in particular was amazing, friendly and an outstanding ability to remember who had ordered what and how much it was even under pressure. The pool was refreshing and well maintained. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. A fifteen minute walk from the centre of Orebic and a sun terrace with stunning views over the Adriatic archipelago towards Kercula.

Had a wonderful week away at this hotel. Fabulous location, beautiful views from my room, and staff go above and beyond - special mention for Toni, who was exceptionally helpful. Did half board, and food is buffet style, but with plenty of choice for breakfast and in the evening.

Had a nice week at the hotel. We noticed the cats too and spoke to staff. There was a stunning ginger cat too that had made his way from the other closed hotel. He was so friendly. We felt worried about their welfare when the hotel closed and what would happen to them over winter. I really do hope they are all safe and cared for. I offered to contact an animal sanctuary but had no reply from the hotel yet.

The hotel, set about twenty minutes walk from the centre of Orebic, is what you would expect from a four star hotel, but there is nothing that particularly stands out worth mentioning apart from the view over the sea which is beautiful. What was a little surprising was that our room was described as having a 'side sea view', whereas, like all the front facing rooms, it had a full view of the sea. Mind you, all the rooms at the back of the hotel overlooked the car park and woodland; not such a pretty sight. Our room was a little on the small side, breakfast was ok and everything was clean and tidy but nothing to shout about. Bathroom towels were well used and needed to be replaced. Perhaps it was because we were there at the end of the season, but the hotel just felt rather ordinary. Would we go there again, probably not. If you do plan to stay here, be awake that it will take about 2 hours 15 minutes to travel by coach from Dubrovnik Airport

The hotel is right on the seafront near Orebic harbour the hotel is lovely staff are friendly. Our room was clean and tidy and cleaned every day. The reason for 3 out of 5 is that the food is so basic we booked full board plus it was so repetitive, the same food every day for breakfast and lunch. Our tea was a bit better there was hot grill meat and fish drink that's included are wine beer and soft drinks. I thought the restaurant would be a lot bigger and more choice. We tried to book an excursion but it was fully booked because it end of season. This is our last day here at the hotel we have enjoyed it but I'm not looking forward to the airport transfer of 3 hours. We were in a little mini bus on the way to the hotel all squashed together I was not happy about that I would not come here again for that reason.

Niestety wiele było zbyt niskiego standardu jak na hotel 4*. Pokój był zbyt ciasny, z wypaloną wykładziną dywanową, porysowanym blatem stołu i rozdartą firanką w oknie balkonowym. Oferta all inclusive light mało atrakcyjna, wręcz monotonna, z niskiej jakości winem z nalewaka i słabym piwem. Szczególnie lunch był mało urozmaicony z niedużym wyborem dań. Na śniadaniach było bardzo mało warzyw, jedynie pomidory i ogórki. Generalnie jesteśmy trochę rozczarowani samym hotelem. Natomiast dużym plusem jest lokalizacja obiektu z plażą i basenem oraz atrakcyjna okolica, a także samo miasteczko Orebić, skąd można za niewielką opłatą popłynąć promem do malowniczej Korćuli.

Enjoyed our stay at the Grand Azur Hotel. We had a sea view and the rooms were very comfortable. Food was good without being great as they are catering for the masses. Breakfast's were the best esp the croissants. The fish or meat tended to be a little over done but best were the salads. The pool and the beach were very good and the staff were attentive. A car is a must if you want to explore the area and beaches. We booked towards the end of September and the weather was very good sunny and 25 degrees. They did have some storms in the first 2 wks of September though. Lack of any real entertainment in the evenings where they could take advantage of some excellent outdoor areas for some live music. Whilst on our stayed we used the masseur on site who was very experienced (ex handball player) and would thoroughly recommend a massage. Whilst you are there you need to spend some time on the island of Korcula which is just a short ferry ride across. The main town is like a minature Dubrovnik without the crowds and would recommend a day and night with some excellent restaurants. Another place to visit locally on the peninsula is Lorvik which has a great restaurant/cafe as well as great waters to swim.

Good stuff. Great location, right on beach, nice pool and plenty of sunbeds. Rooms cleaned every day or youbcanmopt out some days if you wish. Hotel staff polite and Toni at reception very helpful.. Facilities in room Good, tea, coffee, fridge, safe ect etc. Not so good. Food very hit and miss , usually something we liked but was a struggle sometimes. All inclusive light, don't bother with it as only in dinning room at meal times, consists of poor quality draft wine, beer and soft drinks. Outside of this you have to buy everything and not cheap, entertainment is minimal although we are at the end of the season and may have cut back.
