The Enclave by Southern Vacation Rentals

This was the worst condo we have ever stayed at. The washing machine didn’t work properly and was rusty. The dryer was vented in to the closet with lint everywhere. My poor mom had to clean feces off of their toilet!!! My sister, the one who paid for the condo, got stuck with a broken bed that my husband and dad rigged so she could sleep. Liquid life never fixed it and brought an air mattress with no bedding. Overall it was just nasty. We bought shower curtains to put over the stained and sticky furniture. When you sat on the couch, you could feel wood in your back it was so worn out. Make sure you look at the pictures. It’s really sad and disappointing that this is what we spent our money on that we work so hard for.

I’ll start with the only 2 positive things about this place. Parking is close to the condo (If you can find a spot) and it’s right across the street from Walmart. However, we were always scared to leave and go to Walmart bc of the severe lack of parking. There was not near enough parking for the condos. The alternative parking was something like 2 blocks away and cost $30 a night. As you walked into the condo the ceiling was dripping from the smoke detector (see pictures) and when we contacted maintenance we were told that “condensation was normal” the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms was hanging on solely by wires (see pictures). All the patio furniture was broken. The ice maker did not work and neither did the dryer. Very inconvenient stay. Do not recommend

My girlfriends and I stayed at 403 and 404 Enclave May 2023. We booked the 2 condos for 5 nights so that we would all have our own bedrooms and baths. 403 was just what we expected and I would recommend it highly. But 404 was terrible. Shower doors broken and dangerous, ice machine broken, lamps and other lights broken or without light bulbs and the worst was the balcony. Since it was the biggest of the two, we planned breakfast, lunch and after dinner on the 404 balcony. Pictured on the Vacasa website was a tall 4 top table with 4 Chairs, a nice settee and matching chair, perfect for the 7 of us. The reality was a badly beaten up 4-top with no chairs and 4 plastic beach chairs. We complained to the Vacasa 800 number, sent photos to Vacasa by email and spoke with the local Vacasa rep. Lots of excuses, but nothing was addressed. We asked for a price reduction on that unit, and that was the last I heard from Vacasa.
