Beautiful property on a picturesque strip of coast that is simply amazing. The breakfast and dinner buffets were high quality and the staff were helpful and professional in every way. Grand older hotel with sophisticated spaces. We will come again!

An excellent choice for when you are staying in Opatija. The hotel is grand, very central and well equipped with all the amenities. The staff was super friendly, approachable and dedicated to ensuring that you have a comfortable stay. We also got good recommendations on things to do around. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered an impressive variety of options to suit all tastes. The overall experience was fantastic: great ambiance, super central and a relaxing stay.

Everything perfect

Hotel is located in a good location. Very walkable to plenty of places to eat. Room was huge, with plenty of place for luggage. Front desk was pleasant and easy to deal with. The buffet breakfast was amazing with plenty of options for every taste.

Well kept and run five star hotel. Clean, friendly staff and great location. The rooms are very spacious Hard to find parking. Hotel offers for 25 euros per night

The only two good things were location and breakfast. Don’t plan on using WiFi it’s literally non existent in the entire building. We had 3 rooms and couldn’t get signal anywhere! The A/C in our room only worked if I called the front desk, nor could I change the temperature without calling them, super inconvenient. Also be sure to bring your own toiletries for the shower, theirs are below average. Staff were nice people but unfortunately didn’t make up for all the inconveniences.

Alles in Ordnung ! Es war in Ordnung. Ich hatte das schöne Loft Zimmer. Bett war aussergewöhnlich gut. Es müsste etwas modern überholt und optimiert werden sonst alles OK

fantastico città molto bella, tranquilla con molte cose da vedere, verdeggiante, fresca, mare pulito, attrazioni. molto bella, da tornarci. Hotel fantastico. Colazione da guinnes dei primati. La stanza poteva essere pulita meglio e i flaconi dei saponi aggiunti durante il soggiorno ma sono peli nell'uovo che non inficiano alcunché. Hotel molto bello, tetti alti, personale fantastico, gentili puntuali e disponibili

Great place, location and breakfast! Wonderful place with a great feel. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was AMAZING! The ocean side of the hotel is also the street side so great views with a little noise.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit kleinen Mängeln Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Es gibt ein paar Dinge, die ich extra erwähnen möchte. Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Das Frühstück ist bombastisch. Schade, dass man nicht so viel essen kann, wie man möchte. Das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Hotel ist bereits etwas älter, was man hier und da auch merkt. Defekte Fenster, fleckiger Teppich etc. Im Bad gibt es keinen extra Rasierspiegel und kein Licht von vorne, was einem das Rasieren und wahrscheinlich auch das Schminken etwas schwer macht. Dieses Hotel hat so viel Platz. Unverständlich, dass man die Rezeption so sehr in eine Nische quetscht. Man hat dort eher das Gefühl bei einem windigen Autoverkäufer gelandet zu sein, als in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel. Das lag auch an der leicht pampigen Art des Empfangspersonals. Es gibt einen hoteleigenen Parkplatz, der 25 Euro pro Nacht kostet. Dieser kann auch noch nach dem Auschecken weiter benutzt werden.

These walls could tell a tale - add yours This grand old lady sits in an ideal part of town. Her walls i am sure could tell many a tale. Ours was that we had a great stay. The room was spotless, modern and comfy. Meals are served in what i suspect is the original ballroom. Faded grandeur applies here. Some of the other public areas are showing some age. Breakfast was amazing. We also had the evening buffet that was very good and exceptional value. Everyone we met from the staff was helpful and cheerful. Couldn't ask for anything more apart from perhaps a pool which it doesn't have.
