We felt amazing at the property as this was indeed beautiful and located on hill....the view from the property is superb and breathtaking.

As for the management, the government is keeping tabs on foreigners asking for all the documents for legally entering the country. It’s really hostile for management to act like immigration officers. And then bothering again and again because they made a mistake in filing some government intimations forms about a foreigner being here. No other hotel system in other states have bothered me about my documents even after I entered this country legally. They placed us in a corner and forgot about us. Room service only showed up after 3rd day, room cleaning. Overall, this place is just a fancy looking place with poor services. FYI their food was horrible, it tasted like rubbish, weird blend of spices that didn’t even felt like Indian food. I ordered Gobi Manchurian and some fries that arrived cold. Outside food is not allowed, so I had to walk a quarter of a km away in the cold so be prepared. 4 star resort with 2 star service.

Positives - Comfortable beds. Nice views. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Negatives - Wifi didn’t work. Service was painfully slow.

Hotel location is good......Common areas are well maintained however the rooms are not as reflected in photograph on the website....Restaurant is not well managed although the staff is good but I feel there is a lot of scope for improvement. ...Buffet breakfast is good....Biryani taste was good....Food in general was good...Had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the hotel staff to transfer my luggage from room during checkout.....There was a lot of difference between the price as mentioned on trip.com and directly with hotel.....Trip.com was less for the same Privilege Suite....

Good stay Nice staff But very costly

It was very nice to stay here.The service was very good.They were very humble and kind towards us. 24/7 they worked for us.whatever the requirement from us was fulfilled by them.overall its very nice to stay.we enjoyed thoroughly.Thanks to the sterling ELK HOTEL AND MANAGEMT to make our honeymoon special.Special mention to the staff Dhivyashree.

Sterling ELK Hill is a beautifully located property with great views and good infrastructure. The children's play area and indoor game area are well-maintained; some are free, while others require a fee. We booked a 2BHK with a balcony. Initially, we were given a room without a view. However, Mr. Jason kindly helped us secure a room with a lovely valley and city view. We are very grateful to him, as we wouldn't have enjoyed such a wonderful view otherwise. The rooms are very spacious and each bedroom has a heater. All toiletries, including dental and shaving kits, are provided. The housekeeping service provided by Soniya Srikantha was excellent. The morning breakfast and service provided by the restaurant team were also excellent. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Disappointed with the facilities inside the room. For the price charged for the room stay per night it was bad facilities. Bed was sagging, sofas were super sagging. Room service was not good. Not worth a stay for the value of my money.

Staff is very cordial and attentive to the needs of its guests. They even responded very actively when a family member of mine faced a medical emergency while I was on vacation and staying at the hotel. Would surely recommend a stay at this hotel to anyone visiting Ooty.

It was great & pleasant stay.Everything was more than perfect.Location is great.The best part was hospitality. The housekeeping staff was great & very cooperative. The restaurant and reception staff as well. We felt right at home with their warmth. Definitely will visit again.

Had an amazing and fabulous hospitality at sterling elk hotel, the staffs are so good,humble ,and kind. Specially front desk divyasree ,suprava , khartick, and reshima (learning staff). Apart from that , hoskeeping was excellent the room are so clean and neat, we really enjoyed the stayed here. Thank you so much each and everyone.
