Good place to stay in ooty around mountains. Great service and staff. Extra services like pantry will be best value add in this facility.

Really good and calm place to stay to explore Ooty and really nice and welcoming staff! I definately recommend this place for solo backpackers as well as couples, It is a nice escape from overcrowded places and you can enjoy a great bonfire at night

The property was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a comfortable stay. I stayed for four nights and was even able to work remotely without any issues. I’d definitely come back. Sayan, the property manager, was a wonderful host , helpful and attentive throughout.

Hosteller Ooty experience was really great. Location is amazing with city view from top. The management was really helpful and polite. And there is a cute kitten as well to welcome you.

No food given, terrible mattress, terrible blanket, no heater available my backs hurts worst night i ever spent

I had booked the best private room available for 4 days, I left the property within 2 days. The experience was that bad. Second morning of our stay, they started doing some work on the roof at 6AM, which is basically a tin roof and the noise was so loud, there was no way we could go back to sleep. The property is extremely small and has nothing much to offer, except one small common area where maximum 8 people could sit at one time. The room was extremely small and super depressing. Both early mornings were loud and noisy. Even the people living in dorms shared their experience as horrible with us. I'm not sure how this property has 4.2 stars rating. They don't even have a pantry where one can heat their food. The water in the filter was empty by 10 am itself the day we left. The staff is polite and that is the only thing scoring a 1 star from me. At the same price, I got an exceptionally better property. I've been to hosteller at other location, seems like not much attention is given to the one in Ooty
