This is one of the best hotel in ooty. The perfect location and perfect hotels one can find in ooty. The owners look like we are their home. The took at-most care about the guests. Perfect !

Had a pleasant stay for this short trip to Ooty at Hotel Carnation. The staff was courteous and amenities were good. The parking place is bit narrow and the rooms are bit smaller than expected

Had a great stay with family at Hotel Carnation, Ooty for 3 nights. It is very near to Charring Cross junction and other market areas. Botanical Garden is also walkable at 1KM. There's a restaurant "Madras Rasoi" and a Food Truck at the Hotel serving both Veg & N. Veg food. Room was very good and spacious. Geyser is there in the bathroom, so 24/7 hot water there. Kettle is provided for heating drinking water. Hospitality was great by it's owner Mr. Mariadas, very nice person. Mr. Prince who is at reception is a young chap who is very helpful and friendly and well mannered. All other staffs were also very good and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time as well.

Stayed for a night. It was a comfortable stay. The receptionist and the caretaker were super helpful. Very clean room with good facilities.

The hotel is in a convenient location with the markets less than 5 mins away. I would recommend Madras Rasoi (located below the hotel) for breakfast. Super friendly and helpful staff. The room and the hotel were clean and well maintained. We had a semi-deluxe room which was small for a couple so would recommend to book the other rooms, if traveling with family. Overall a positive experience!

Situated right in the town, the hotel is a safe place to stay with family. The staff especially Mr Prince at the reception was warm and welcoming.
Rooms- clean, spacious and extra bed provided. Bathrooms were also very neat. Toiletries were provided and there was hot water available.
The one issue we had was the lack of AC/ Fan.. The room was cool enough but felt stuffy. If they could have had an exhaust fan atleast in the bathroom, it would have been helpful.
For a budget stay, I would definitely recommend.

Property location is good. Eatries like A2B and other joints are 0.5 Kms away. You can cover by walk but think if you can. In the evening, there is a fast food truck that's available next to the property. It is a known place in local and the market is also at 300 metres. Parking is available. Rooms were ventilated. Staff was helpful.
