Was in town for blood prison the hotel was very courteous pillows where fluffy even even booked the hotel at the wrong time made a very stressful situation into a not so very stressful situation if your in mansfield i would recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel is currently under renovation however the rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are very clean. There is a weird plumbing thing in the bathroom but it seemed fine for showering. Hotel is pet friendly and does ofder breakfast but it wasn't our kinda thing. Over all worth the money for the night.

This is a wonderful hotel. It was very clean and the room was spacious. The bathroom had Dove soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower and Dove body lotion. The water was hot and the towels were very nice. The breakfast was good and lots of restaurants nearby. I will definitely stay here again!!

For the price you cannot beat this place. I spent two weeks at this hotel while on a business trip. I stayed in an executive suite - when you first walk in there is a family room with desk, couch, arm chair, 2 ottomans, a dresser and large TV. Very nice space. Then there is a hallway that goes to the bedroom in the rear - you walk past the bathroom on one side with a credenza and open closet on the other (with a large mirror over the counter, small refrigerator and microwave underneath) The newly renovated rooms were very nice and the king size bed and pillows were great. Another big screen TV in the bedroom. I really liked the full length mirror in the bedroom. The pressure in the shower was not the best but it was sufficient and unlike some other reviewers I found no problems with getting hot water. Dove Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and Lotion all provided. The floor was pergo which I prefer over carpet but it was pretty dirty. The a/c unit is in the bedroom and on hotter days it was harder to keep the family room cool. The included breakfast didn't provide a huge selection but plenty of choices including eggs, a breakfast meat, some kind of starch (potato, biscuits or pancakes) as well as a variety of cereals, toast/pastries, OJ, coffee, water. All in all, I would stay here again.

Wingate Ontario has renovated! Our room was brand new and very modern. Shower has glass doors instead of cheap curtains. Room was very quiet and staff very friendly. TV remote not user friendly at first, took a couple days to figure out. And still same low price. Best deal in Mansfield.

The rooms have been renovated to the best in class or better! Everything from the service to the bedding to the amenities are first rate. The breakfast is above average. it's on a convenient location just. off US30, near shopping, fastfood and restaurants

Upon arrival we saw that the pillow had blood on it. There was a 3 foot portion of the ceiling that was separated from the top and looked like it may cave in, filthy curtains and a portion of the window was separated from the wall. Called twice to speak to the manager but never received a call back. Emailed head office and they said because it was booked thru ******* they could do nothing for a refund or a change in the rate. They only offered some points to their hotel. Spoke to two individuals at ******* who both called the hotel to try and get a refund but it was denied. ******* could do nothing but give me $45.00 in ******* points. This room should have never been rented out and management would not take ownership on this issue.

Our stay at The Wingate in Mansfield OH was like what we expected. The hotel needs a major renovation (which is going on as we speak).Room was okay, real cold but the heater worked fine so no problem. Room was fine, the beds were comfortable (could use an upgrade on the quality of the pillows). But the (large size) room itself was clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was good, plenty of choices. Better than average. The outside was a disappointment, the parking area was full of loose pavement with holes al over. But for us it was sufficient and had a good stay. Would stay again.

Upon arrival, I was told they had no record of my reservation through *********. And they are sold out .Then magically she comes up with a reservation through ******* 1 room no price or any of my information on this print out in which I kept for proof on the dispute and which I did not do they did not have our three rooms that I’ve looked on ********** and yet I paid for them back in July and are refusing to give a refund the hotel stank. The pool was closed. The ceilings had water damage in the third floor was closed under construction but if you went on the website standing in the lobby, it showed rooms available. So they expected me to split my family? Due to not having my booking set back in July thru **********. Next up the BBB and then more!
