Onslow Beach Resort

Had a great time at The Ocean Beach Resort. Highlights included friendly staff, great bar/restaurant overlooking Bay (loved that Chicken Burger and Coffee in the morning), comfortable bed and well-appointed room facilities. Stayed 3 nights and explored the region, flew with Ningaloo Air to Mackerel Islands, swam with a Dugong, Lemon Shark and spotted turtles amongst an amazing diversity of marine life. Old Onslow and a visit to the Visitor Centre recommended. The Resort is centrally located on the waterfront offering great views, access to the Bay and within short stroll to the local shops. The room was well appointed, great bed, multi room layout offering good washing facilities' and kitchenette with t/v lounge area.

Great base for exploring the region, especially the gorgeous Mackerel Islands. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchens, great beachside restaurant and fantastic staff. Stayed for 3x nights for work and discovered that Onslow is a little gem of a town. So much going on and friendly locals who're generous with sharing their favourite places to fish, take a dip in the ocean, or watch the sun set/ the moon rise.

Very nice stay with a great ocean view. The room was very clean and tidy, comfy bed, with good combination of airconditioning and ceiling fans. The Bar and Restaurant food were also great. Just one criticism - shower screen and washing machine both leaked.

Great room, has everything you need, staff are fabulous, beds big and comfy, dishwasher and washing machine was great. 2 minutes from fuel and Supermarket, restaurant has a small but nice menu, great tasting steaks. No complaints at all

Stayed for 2 nights. Excellent sea view room. Clean and comfortable. The only complaint is breakfast. It's amazing how many restaurants struggle to cook an egg. Here you are asked how would you like your eggs. Don't bother to answer because it's always either with the white not set and runny, with the yoke hard or both.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was better than we anticipated it would be. The “room” was well appointed with kitchenette, dining area, balcony/terrace, bathroom with laundry. Lovely spot. Very well positioned resort overlooking the ocean. Wish we were here for the “stairway”!
