Hotel Plaža

Stayed for a week at the Plaza and could not fault anything at all! Room was spacious with balcony overlooking the beautiful beach! Fridge and kettle supplied and safe worked from your room key which saves remembering a number!! Lovely and plentiful breakfast, and helpful and friendly staff in all areas! Maid service very good too. Enjoyed several days just relaxing on the wonderful roof terrace using the jacuzzi and taking in the gorgeous view. Situated not far from the high street and back street with some lovely restaurants. Ate three times in the restaurant belonging to the hotel which had the BEST salmon and mangold meal ever!! Easy to get to both Split and Makarska on local buses for nice days out too. Thank you to everyone at the Plaza for helping make our stay so memorable- we hope to come back one day!

Lovely rooms, extremely clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Very big selection of breakfast items in the buffet, very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely hot tub on the roof with lovely views across the bay. Nice balcony attached to the room. Highly recommended

This was our third time in Omiš and at Hotel Plaza, we absolutely love this place! All the staff are fantastic and always make us feel so welcome, from reception, restaurant to the outside cafe bar. There are too many to mention everyone individually, but a special mention for Marina, she always greets us with a smile and makes time for a quick chat even when she is super busy! We always go half board and it is really good value. The food is always fresh and hot and the restaurant is kept spotlessly clean. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and looking forward to returning soon.

Would be very hard to find a lot of fault with this hotel however, this is a review based on our stay. We booked with Jet2 and to be honest, I probably should have done a bit more homework. On arrival, we were allocated a basic room which is exactly what we paid for. When we went to the room I was very unhappy with it. It was on the first floor had no balcony and was above the smoking and café area. Went straight down to reception and asked if there was any possibility of a move only to be told that that is what a basic room offers no balcony and no guaranteed allocation for a sea view. I explained that I wasn’t particularly bothered about sea view but we were staying 11 nights and therefore really needed a balcony. Was told that the hotel was completely full and there would be very little chance of another room, but by the time we got back up to the first floor, the phone rang and they had found a room with a balcony at a cost of €165 euros. We agreed to the additional cost, and were very grateful to Anna on reception who sorted this out for us. The hotel is not a four star but a very good three star. It’s rated as a four star because it has spa facilities. I would say it’s like a good Premier Inn. The hotel is spotless clean, and we had fresh towels daily and clean bedding throughout the duration of our 11 night stay. Only negative with our upgraded room was the shower was over the bath and I would have preferred a walk in shower. The bath was quite small and difficult to climb into if you are short like me. Luckily, there was a grab rail. This is definitely a stopover hotel and perfect for a short stay. It has a lot of tour bus trips that stay one or two nights. Breakfast was excellent, something for everyone. On busy days when the coaches are in the food goes quickly but it’s replenished just as quickly. We also ate there on an evening a few times and it is buffet style. Something for everyone. The hotel has no pool but does have a bathing area on the 5th floor with comfy sun beds and a jacuzzi. We used this area when the weather was good rather than the beach to the left of the hotel. Beach area is not great it is a mixture of small stones, grass and paved areas. Omis is a beautiful little town and the hotel is a stones throw away from the old town area where there are plenty of restaurants. There are boat trips and other activities depending on how active you are. It is also approximately 12 miles outside Split but it is so easy to get into on the bus that stops just a little up the road from the hotel. I would stay here again, but only if I was doing a short trip and passing through, and I would also recommend it.

This time was alone but usualy we are couple, were there a lots of time. Very clean, comfortable, kind and helpful staff, feel like home at hotel Plaza, excellent breakfast with nice cafe in which you can sit, read a newspaper and eat tasty cakes and extraordinary pancakes. And not to forget - very good spa!

Nous avons passé 3 nuits à l'hotel Plaza: La chambre les 2 premier jour etait petite mais correcte. Notre deuxième passage pour une nuit grande chambre.restauration parfaite car il y a beaucoup de choix. Le petit dejeuner est aussi sous forme de buffet et varié.hotel tres bien situé près des rues commerçante avec pas mal de restaurants est magasins. Nous etions à Omis pour un séjour l'hotel à 100 mètres de la mer. Calme et tres propre. Dommage personnes ne parle francais .

Wir sind jetzt zum dritten Mal im Hotel Plaza. Und wie immer sind wir begeistert, es gibt hier ein fantastisches Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut alles ist sehr sauber. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, die Liegen können vom Hotel geordert werden.

Super freundlich - auch Deutsch wird gesprochen. Lage super - direkt am Strand und zentral zur Altstadt. Super, schönes, großes Zimmer (DZ / MB premium!) sehr reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstücksbüffet. Parkplatz unbedingt mit reservieren. Sehr leckeres Restaurant nebenan (gehört dazu).

The hotel and omis are lovely, lovely room with great air con . The restaurant staff were really nice, The food looked nice but was cold most nights which was disappointing . We knew there was no pool but no shade on the roof terrace was not good it was so hot and having to pay for hotel sun beds to be put on a rough peace of land wasn't good
