Green Valley Apartments

Sooooo.... we had a WONDERFUL time at this hotel. The staff are super helpful and rooms are kept clean and tidy. Halit, the owner, was like a best friend in the six days we stayed. Although, I doubt he'd agree with us keeping him up until 3am on accasion (and him with a 6am alarm clock set)! The food is excellent if you can't be bothered to go to the shop for food. Green Valley's main attraction is the SWIMMING POOL. I cannot stress enough how well this is maintained. Emptied and filled daily from an on-site umderground well. Its crystal CLEAR! I would say it's the BEST swimming pool I have ever experienced. For this reason alone, we will definitely be going back to Green Valley to stay with Halit and his family. There's a nice chill vibe in Sept. No children running around (or at least not when we were there). Generally older couples - sometimes accompanied by their grown up children. So many people we spoke to have been going to Ovacik/Oludeniz for 10/15/20 even 30 YEARS! All of them opting to stay at Green Valley. You will not be disappointed. I'll admit, the wedsite photo's don't look too appealing (apologies Halit) but believe me, the pool is worth the flight out alone. We got out of the airport at 8am and walked straight onto a coach to Fetiye for about £11. Then £1.50 to Ovacik. If we had pre-booked from the UK, it would have been £40. It's only a short £1.50 for two bus ride to Ölüdeniz. With stunning mountain views and paragliders a plenty to watch. You will not be disappointed. The beach front bars are fantastic. If you are going to treat yourself to a cocktail - do it here. It's an idyllic setting for sun downers and Al fresco dining. Any imported alcohol is expensive - so as a rule of thumb, stick to local spirits/beer. I mostly drank Efes - £3.50 a pop on average, although you can pay double that at the Yaught Hotal restaurant for example. But it's worth it for the view and the restaurant is amazin too if you want to really treat yourself. I keep banging on about the cost of drinks. It's because not too long ago Turkey was a cheap destination and booze was cheap as chips. Now, a 50 (sometimes 25ml) shot of Jack Daniel's can cost £10! 350TL. If you have four JD and cokes you're looking at £40. If your partner has a cocktail - it's the same. Four drinks each can cost you up to £80! You know what its like after a few too many beers - you'll start ordering up the shots for sure. As we did on a few occasions. Please, do go to 'Spice', they do a set menu curry (which is one of the best curries I've ever had. I'm originally from Birmingham - so I do know the difference). That's the only reason

Stayed here for 2 weeks in September 2023 first time in Turkey & in GreenValley Apart/Hotel & enjoyed every second. The staff are amazing, eager to please and nothing is too much. The cocktails are fantastic, good value and made right in front of you. The iced coffees are a must try, better than Costa or Starbucks at a fraction in the cost. The beds are comfortable, air con is brilliant & the food is delicious. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed every other day. The hotel itself is impeccably clean. Pool is lovely, very relaxed feel. I cannot thank Halit, his family & the staff enough for their outstanding service. I would 1000% come back.

We booked this holiday with love holidays and stayed at this hotel/apartments in July and opted for self catering .The pool and bar area was lovely, beds comfortable and apartment was clean. The self catering option was not adequate, a kettle and one single one ring hot plate, one large pot and a frying pan to cook meals.I asked if I could have a toaster and was told no. It’s not realistic to cook a whole week meals on one ring in 1 pot. I don’t know how a family could manage as we couldn’t as a couple. At the very least you need a 2 ring hob and a microwave oven and a toaster. We definitely would not recommend the self catering option.

Amazing hotel will definitely be returning rooms have everything you need in them pool and bar area spotless food delicious family run hotel who are lovely can’t do enough for you especially when my 6 year old daughter fell of her bed in her sleep burst her head open owner was fast to get us a taxi straight to hospital even waited up for us coming back would definitely recommend to anyone

Absolutely brilliant stay, very clean room and hotel. This staff could not do enough for us. Food and drinks were extremely high standard and amazing. Great prices. Highly recommend will definitely be coming back. The rooms are cleaned every day to the highest standards. Loved it

I stayed here for 2 weeks in April 2022 , arrived late a.m flight and was met by a pleasant helpful manager hallit who offered to make food and beverages set the tone for my stay @ welcoming . loved it the rooms are spacious cleaned daily the manager hallit can't do enough very helpful, food when I ate there every other day was amazing and well priced . the barman apo was a comedian really cool guy and all the guests there I met were all returning visitors some very nice ppl there , thank you hallet and your team for for very relaxing stay highly recommended and look forward to returning a.s.a.p thanks damian (London) 5 stars from me perfect staycation
