As a tour operator, we always seek the best experiences for our clients, and Masai Mara Sopa Lodge in Masai Mara exceeds expectations. The lodge offers stunning views, comfortable accommodations, and top-notch service. The staff is warm and attentive, ensuring every guest feels at home. The proximity to wildlife makes it an excellent choice for safari lovers, with game drives starting right at the doorstep. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay in the Mara!

The lodge was excellent in relation to distance from Masai Mara Game Preserve, food provided, room comfort and staff service. There were some animals freely going about their business day and night. We saw plenty of monkeys and a few smaller lizards. The food was much better than many of the 4 star hotels we have stayed at in Turkey, for example. There was actual desserts and not just glowing coloured cakes you find in Turkey or in a cruise ship. We had sticky toffee pudding. The lodge does not provide any drinks with food so you need to buy them separately each day. A large still table water is 300 Kenyan Shillings. Power does cut off intermittently of an evening but only for a minute or so and there are lots of very friendly staff available. We stayed in lodge 58 which was very comfortable. The bed was hard which is great for me! The packed lunches and breakfasts are great too. Overall I would highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

As I set foot in the Maasai Mara, a wave of awe washed over me. The air was crisp, carrying the earthy scent of the savannah, mingled with the distant calls of wildlife. The golden grasslands stretched endlessly before me, interrupted only by the silhouettes of lone acacia trees and the graceful movement of zebras and antelopes. Our safari vehicle rumbled over the rugged terrain, and within moments, I was face to face with the untamed beauty of Africa. A pride of lions lounged lazily beneath the shade, their golden coats blending seamlessly with the landscape. Nearby, a tower of giraffes ambled gracefully, their long necks reaching for the treetops. But the highlight was the Great Migration. I watched in breathless anticipation as thousands of wildebeests gathered at the Mara River, hesitating before taking the plunge. When they finally surged forward, the river exploded into chaos—water splashing, hooves pounding, crocodiles lurking. It was nature’s raw drama at its finest. As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in fiery hues, I felt an overwhelming sense of wonder. The Maasai Mara wasn’t just a destination; it was an experience—wild, mesmerizing, and utterly unforgettable.

Excellent hotel with great food and friendly staff. We spent two nights with a family and were really satisfied. For a full day of safari an individual lunchbox was packed for everyone. Cocktails at the bar were perhaps not recommendable, but it's just a tiny detail. Hotel offered also some live entertainment at the evenings, which was a great addition to the evening. As sebras on the way from our lodge to breakfast.

I cannot say how much we loved this property, mostly the staff, pleasant, kind, always a smile, attentive. We stayed here 2 nights so this gave us the opportunity to get to know the staff. Our friends had stayed here 2 months prior to us and they also loved it. My husband thought he lost his wallet but it was in our Safari truck and Jonny (staff) ran all the way to the truck parking lot to retrieve it for us. On our 2nd night we were presented with a cake, with great celebration, to acknowledge the referral by our friends who had been there 2months prior - this brought me to tears. Our waiter said ‘we do not take your visit for granted”. If you go here, you won’t be disappointed.
