Great Stay We loved this place in Ollantaytambo. Our items were picked up by the hosts free of charge at the train station and we explored on foot until we arrived at the home later in the day. The home is spacious and well maintained with a large patio and great views of the city. Catta was flexible with our needs and held our bags until we left Ollantaytambo in the late afternoon. I would highly recommend the stay to any group of friends or family visiting!

Catty’s place was very charming. We had tons of room, it was very comfortable, and the roof top deck was amazing. Catty met us from our tour van and helped us get to her place. She arranged so many things for us to make everything smooth. We wished we could have done 3 or 4 nights there. We highly recommend staying at her place and having her help arrange tours while there and in surrounding area.

We originally planned to stay here for three nights but when we heard of potential trouble in Cusco we decided to cancel Cusco and stay here for six nights. We're so glad we did. Ollantaytambo is a lovely little town which is very safe with plenty of restaurants. Dona Catta's house is about a 5 minute walk from the main square. If you're coming by taxi let Catta know and she will arrange help with your luggage as no cars can come up the narrow street where the house is. We had the whole house to ourselves and Catta, or her husband Roberto, came in to get us breakfast every day. It's very quiet at night, apart from maybe the odd dog barking (there are lots of strays in town but they all look very healthy). Catta is very helpful with information about things to do around the place. We were lucky as one of the days we were there was a Carnival and everyone put up stalls outside their houses selling food. If you want to arrange a taxi to take you round I suggest a company called Taxidatum - very helpful and reliable.

Dona Catta was an amazing place place to stay at. We love our homemade breakfast in the morning. This place has the most comfortable bed, and views. This town was adorable and Catte and her daughters were the sweetest as can be. Super helpful and just an incredible experience. I recommend this place for anyone visiting Ollantaytambo. We hope to go back soon.

If Ollantaytambo isn’t magical enough, Catta and her amazing property take it into overdrive. A comfortable, spacious home in town with full kitchen, plentiful hot water and an AMAZING new rooftop terrace with some truly breathtaking views. As a hostess, Catta is as attentive and responsive as they come, always willing to help arrange transport or local adventures. To make the trip extra special, a friend in our group adopted a local stray dog and Catta even put us in touch with the right people to make it happen. A wonderful human renting out an absolutely spectacular home! We’ll be back!
