Pine Cliffs Village

Voorgaande jaren bezocht ik Pine Cliffs met mijn ouders mijn man en kinderen. Nu met vriendinnen. Wederom een heerlijke onbezorgde vakantie. Het park is nog steeds prachtig onderhouden de begroeiing groen en kleurrijk. Het personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het privé strand en de wandeling ernaartoe prachtig. De combinatie van het grote appartement (penthouse tegenover het zwembad bij het golfclubhuis) met 3 slaapkamers en 3 badkamers (dat betaalbaar is!) met bijbehorende hotel faciliteiten én privéstrand heb ik nog steeds niet elders gevonden. De keuken en badkamers in de golfsuite zijn iets aan het verouderen maar ach, mij hindert dat niet als de de rest zo goed en fijn is. Overigens denk ik dat meerdere accomodatie typen fijn zijn, dat hangt altijd af van je persoonlijke wensen. Verdiep je in de plattegrond en beschrijvingen dan kom je al een heel eind met oriënteren. Mijn ervaring is ook dat de receptie en conciërge bijna alle vragen snel en vriendelijk kan beantwoorden.

We have been to Vilamoura befote but never visited Pine Cliffs, on this occasion we booked their restaurant for dinner, O Pescaador. Beautiful restaurant in a stunning resort. So pleased we went there we had a lovely evening and will think about staying there the next time we are in the Algarve.

I can not recommend this resort enough. We travelled as a family of 5 and stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. From the minute we stepped off the shuttle bus from the airport we really felt the 5 star experience. The apartment itself was clean, on the days the cleaners came earlier in the day they came again later to do turn downs. On some days it wasn't cleaned until later in the day but that didn't bother us at all. The pool we went to most days was beside the O'Grill restaurant. There were people reserving sunbeds but there were still plenty available. I can imagine this may be more of a problem during high season. Breakfast at O'Grill was brilliant, staff were attentive, quick to sit us down and to bring us anything we needed. Food was fresh and varied. The only other restaurant we used was Corda Cafe, we went 3 times and loved it each time. Again we found the staff attentive and food lovely. We did try to use the shuttle a few times. We were lucky twice and did manage to catch it but on other times we waited more than 25 minutes, gave up and walked instead. The resort grounds were beautiful, well kept, great photo opportunities everywhere. We only went to the beach once. It was a bit of a walk but was worth it. We went later in the day and there plenty sunloungers available. Each and every member of staff we came into contact with were happy, friendly and couldn't do more for us. We will recommend this resort to others and will definitely be back.

What an amazing stay at Pine Cliffs...from the excellent location to the various F&B experience and to the small details left in room. Excellent hotel for families, where the kids have lots of fun in several activities through out the resort.

Always a great experience. Have stayed around 12-15 times at Pine cliffs over the last 25 years with family and solo. Back in September for 14 nights at the ocean suites. The resort is beautiful and it has never lost its spark, the view and cliffs is beautiful. Booked a resort room at the Ocean Suites for 12 nights in May and was lucky enough to be giving a room with a great view of the sea. The staff are always friendly and helpful, had one issue with an unexpected charge however was eventually refunded. The spa is really good, always nice to see the familiar faces who have worked in the spa for a long time now. Preferably the ocean suites are my favourite part to stay in, however the hotel is also very nice. The gardens apartment are probably the best decorated however I’m not keen on the location within the resort. The sun loungers are a lot more comfortable at the ocean suite pool or main hotel pool. I did sit by the garden pool once but found the loungers quite uncomfortable, think they have been changed as they were better a couple of years ago. I can never really comment on the food as always say outside the resort, and you don’t get breakfast included in the standard when staying at the ocean suites. The only suggestion I ever really have is an adults only pool would be a great addition to the resort, or like a small luxury beach club… something along those lines would really enhance the resort.

3 wunderschöne Wochen haben wir hier vor dem Weihnachtsfest gewohnt. Golfen, Ruhe und Strandspaziergänge standen auf dem Programm. Als Bonvoy-Statusgast bekamen wir ein fantastisches Upgrade. Wir kommen regelmäßig und genießen die fantastische Lage des Resorts, die sympathische Crew, das wunderschöne Hallenbad, das gute Gym mit modernen Geräten und Tageslicht und den famosen Garten. Leider findet das Frühstück immer noch in den Wintermonaten in einem Souterrain statt. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
