"Great location close to town. It is a small music themed hotel in Old Bar which is about 15 minutes east of Taree. Each room is dedicated to a musician of any genre. eg we stayed in the Dave Grohl (lead singer of The Foo Fighters) themed room where the bathroom wall was tiled with his face. There was music memorabilia all over the room which was amazing and a record player so you could play records during your stay. The records were stored all along the hallways of the hotel and all you had to do was go out and pick one. Unfortunately, they are kept track of and you have to give them back! The vibe is coastal chill and the service and staff were amazing. My only concern was that the shower recess itself had no water barrier so the shower water ran all over the floor of the bathroom. It is a safety concern, especially since the clientele that we saw were older in age. Apart from that I highly recommend staying here!"

"Park is out dated and in need of a serious makeover. Jumping pillow is gone now with no replacement for something for the kids. For what I have paid over the years I would expect to actually see some changes but nothing has been done. I feel for the residents who pay yearly fees."

"Wow, what a beautiful location and cottage. It was so relaxing sitting around the fireplace reading and walking around the gorgeous grounds. Breakfast hamper was a lovely touch. Definitely recommend."

"Apartment 8, disgustingly dirty, old an run down. We spent one night in there, leavg 2more nights. I spoke to Luke, the manager of serenity, who said that the apartment is privately owned and apologise an said Serenity doesn't look after those apartments. He offered to move us to a villa which they look after without hesitation. The villa is clean modern an exceptional. Thank you Luke for making our stay much nicer, great coffee maker aswell. 😀 "
