Modern Writers Nook

Good weekend We enjoyed our stay OKC and Modern Writer Nook. Great location and easy to get to and from places. Really did not feel like we were in the city while at the Modern Writer Nook with all the trees around. Quit neighborhood. It was a nice place to stay.

Very cute inside. Upstairs noise was very annoying. Especially during the day and night. TV not set up for ESPN and other cable stations. Did not want to use my own phone data to get channels. Not a fan of AC splitter cooling. It was difficult to regulate and very humid. Ice maker needed repair. The place was in a good location. Very cute VRBO. We will not be staying there again just to many cons.

Great Weekend Getaway!! This was quaint little retreat felt like you were out in the country, yet it was just minutes away from the city. We loved the quietness and charm of this place. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Neighborhood OKC Lovely decor and setting, however the heating and AC wall units are very noisy when running, and one is right over the bed. This unit also emits a light from the temperature readout. This resulted in sleep disturbances for us, but might not bother everyone. There was a very small bit of TP left; we had to go buy some, and there were no tissues or any sort of kitchen towel, either paper or cloth. Also, as other reviewers mentioned, there was not enough coffee for the Keurig; there were four pods left for two people, so basically enough for 1 day. Despite these glitches, we adapted and enjoyed our stay, and as previously mentioned, the setting is lovely and mostly very comfortable. The shower is spectacular!!

Beautiful/ Amazing This place was a cute little cottage in the middle of the city, but didn’t feel like you were in the middle of the city! So peaceful!

Best VRBO experience ever We have used VRBOs a few times... this one acceded our expectations. We will go back there the next time we travel to OKC.
