Very nice basic hotel with no amenities. Close to the beach and shopping. Very clean and well kept facility. Staff was friendly

If you're thinking of staying here.....Don't! Location is good, but that's where it ends. The most run down lodging anywhere! Run! Stained ceiling, Broken blinds, disgusting carpet, old outdoor seat cushions on the back of chairs. Outright horrible place

This motel must be demolished and rebuilt because it no longer meets the health and safety standards of the people. In addition the photos used for the advertisement on Booking and TripAdvisor are fake because the reality is desastruos!

Chambre petite mais propre. Literie très désagréable, drap rugueux. Aucune eau chaude durant notre séjour, donc pas de douche. Le plombier est supposément passé deux fois. Aucune possibilité pour parler au propriétaire donc impossible de négocier le tarif vu le manque au niveau des installations qui sont basiques. Aucun endroit prévu pour se reposer à l’extérieur. Des gens de la famille y étaient allés à plusieurs reprises dans les années antérieures et ce n’était pas du tout le même service qu’on a eu. L’endroit a vraiment fait un plongeon dans le négatif. Je ne recommande nullement cet endroit.

My family and I (10 people ages 2-78) booked 2 large rooms at this motel back in March of 2022 for the weekend of july 29th 2022. We stayed at this motel last year and liked the amount of space each room had and the close proximity to the beach so we thought we would return. BIG MISTAKE! When we arrived to check in, we were told they are under new management and had cancelled our reservations. No apology, no alternate options, just 10 people stuck in the rain with no place to go. As if not having accommodations in a town that books up every weekend wasn't bad enough, we had paid a deposit that they were UNWILLING TO REFUND! They put the blame on the previous owners and *******, we called ******* and they attempted to contact these managers when they stopped answering their calls. We showed them our bank statements and confirmations from ******* but they still lied and said they had not received payment, and even if they did the were not going to honor our reservation because the rooms were rebooked by other travelers at a much higher rate. So they took over a business, refused to notify the upcoming guests, cancelled a previously booked reservations and waited until these guests arrive to notify them so they could rebook new guests at outrageous prices or try to price gouge unsuspecting guests who arrive to check in and tell them they cant have the room unless they pay the new rate. I have read on other sites as well that we are not the only victims of this scam operation, in fact other guests we spoke to at the motel state they fell victim to these "new managers" as well, they would have been in the same situation but had a family member that came to check in and was informed of their room cancellation so they knew to call ahead. We also spoke to a local business owner that states since these new managers took over they have had nothing but complaints and are afraid their terrible business practices will negatively impact tourism in this beach town. In addition to being careless with people's time and money, they also have no regard for health and safety, all health and safety permits were expired. The Oganuit police department was contacted and the officer was extremely patient and helpful with the situation, management was also able to magically find our deposit in their system after he inquired. After unsuccessfully finding another place to stay in the area, we had to count our losses and drive all the way home. If you feel like driving for hours and then spending your vacation weekend back at your house, this is the place for you! I understand this family manages multiple properties in the Ogunquit area as well, so look before you book!

Had a wonderful stay! Management great! Ogunquit a great place stay. Met some wonderful people. The town is full of life! Room was clean and quiet. Extended our stay from 1 to 3. Would definitely recommend and will stay again next visit from Ohio
