Park Place Hotel

This is the best place I've ever stayed in OCMD, and I've been going to that beach for over 40 years. I regret not immediately joining their members club so i could enjoy the benefits in the future, but our reservations had been made in my friend's name. The staff is wonderful. Housekeeping is the best! They cleaned our room every day, even tho it didn't really need it, providing fresh towels, washcloths, and anything else we needed. They even washed our dishes and folded blankets and remade the beds, and Flora showed us how she makes animals out of towels, they were so adorable! Rooms are spotless, beds so comfortable. I'm never going to stay anywhere else from now on. Can't wait to go again!

Nice I don’t think employees should park in spaces under the pool area. Those should be saved for all handicap The lady at desk was wonderful and just loved the tea and cookies in mid afternoon. The tea gave me a little boost which I needed So happy to find it is still very clean as it was under Caryl. Elevators were still so clean and looked polished

Perfect location for attending Country Calling. Lot attendant was so nice and really helpful. Could use better pillows as these were smaller than standard and pretty flat. Otherwise, we really enjoyed pur stay. We would definitely recommend this place and we would stay here again.

House keeping was awesome. Thank you Ingrid !! Pool could have been heated more than it was. Staff was great. Cleanliness was good. The Coconut Club was nice, good staff, but, hours were off. I'm sure this was due to off season. However, with large events after Labor Day, they should maintain summer hours. Overall, a nice experience.

Staff are constantly visibly cleaning which is reassuring. Rooms are beautiful. Easy boardwalk access is amazing. Access from inside hotel to a restaurant bar. I didn't have time to try the two pools. On site parking made a huge difference as well, I just wish it was cheaper for parking.

We thought the hotel was very clean.. and actually smelled really pretty throughout . I especially liked Laura at the desk… she was very knowledgeable and did give us great suggestions for food and things to do.. I would definitely come back here .. and I give Laura a 10!!!!! Tammi K New York

Fantastic location! Definitely will be heading back there again. Room was clean, hotel overall was spotless! The access to the boardwalk from the lobby was absolutely my favorite perk, however I also enjoyed the pool area and the bar with a fantastic view of the ocean. They even had themed drinks for the festival. The only negative is there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and had a little black mold on the ceiling. It may not be the case in all the rooms, but it was for mine. Definitely returning next year.

Boardwalk/oceanfront with close walking proximity to the Ocean’s Calling music festival. Plenty of parking. Clean spacious rooms and adequate amenities like fridges, microwaves and coffee makers. Staff was helpful and pleasant. There is a restaurant/bar on site. Tip-Request an ocean view room on an upper level.

Park Place is filled with kind, attentive, and friendly staff. Their dedication to keeping the hotel clean and accommodating any requests I think is what truly brings the returning guest. The hotel itself upon walk in looked promising. Lobby was cute and nicely decorated. Hallways to the rooms were good as well. Upon entering our room everything appeared clean and tidy. And it was. Very clean in the room. The room itself however was in need of TLC. The little kitchenette area albeit dated was nice to have in the room. A nice single kcup upgrade would be great opposed to an old unused small coffee pot. The fixtures were rough and need replacing, same with the nightstand fixtures. But this is simply cosmetic but, I'm personally a bit bothered by things that are worn down in hotels. I do understand I am more nitpicky than many. The location is perfect, the view is beautiful and the amenities near by was good for snack, coffee and eatery options. Our biggest issue was the balcony door and the leaking AC unit. The door was terribly hard to open. The balcony itself could use a little refresher with paint and nicer chairs. (Again a bit picky). The pools were fine, shower off area was a bit smelly but it's understandable. With that being said, I would absolutely stay here again. Interested to see if the higher floors have updated rooms.
