Achnacriche B&B

My husband and I spent a week at Achnacriche, hoping to "get away from it all." From the moment we arrived, we knew we had picked the right spot. Elfik and Zuzana provided everything we needed, the room was perfect, and Zuzana's food was over the top. Elfik has clearly made a point of learning everything about the area, and was a wealth of knowledge on what to see, and where to take walks, and the history of the area. We came wanting to escape, and left feeling part of their family. 5 stars are not enough!!

Mitten im Nirgendwo befindet sich dieses Juwel von B&B&D-inner. Wenn man die Nc‘Nean Whisky Distillerie, die wie das B&B zum Drimnin Estate gehört, tut es ganz gut, wenn man nach dem Whisky Tasting die Nacht hier verbringen kann, besonders auch weil die äußerst freundlichen und wohlwollenden Gastgeber einen neben dem Breakfast auch noch mit einem Dinner verwöhnen. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, mit riesigem Bett und funktionalem Badezimmer. Alles ist sehr dauber und gepflegt. Der Garten vor dem Haus befindet sich zur Zeit in einer Ungestaltungsphase und es muss noch Arbeit investiert werden bevor dieses Projekt abgeschlossen ist. Vom Zimmer aus sieht man Abends die Hirsche in der Wiese grasen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden hervorragend bekocht.

We had a fab 4 nights at Achnacriche! Zuzana’s meals were great! Elfik was a super host, so helpful and attentive. He is a wealth of information and always happy to answer any questions. The accommodation was superb, everything that we expected and more! A real gem in Morven!!! Sue & Lorna

Lovely place with excellent food Attended with a party of 9. All really enjoyed their choices Definitely worth a visit You have to get in touch beforehand and pre select your choices from the menu Currently it’s also a BYOB only option. But that’s totally fine Very good value for money

What a wonderful experience ! Elfik is so kind and welcoming and the food is fabulous. We booked our table and meal in advance but one of our children was then sick and we were staying locally so he lent us Tupperware and we feasted at home instead . My husband was sad not to stay in the cosy restaurant, festooned with twinkling fairy lights. 10/10 for food quality and service and kindness

If you are looking for a cosy, relaxed, tranquil. small, hidden gem at the end of the world with warm and welcoming hosts- look no further! This B&B will give you all of that. The surroundings are one of a kind, the views are splendid, the road up to the B&B is something you've not seen before- Achnacriche makes a perfect little getaway. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and had a picture-book view. The bed was somewhat squeaky but very comfortable. Coffee and Tea facilities were in the room, as well as a hair dryer, multiple pillows, USB sockets, etc. etc. We booked our dinner in advance (can highly recommend the venison burger) and enjoyed it very much. In the vicinity of the B&B there are plenty walking/hiking options, as well as a the Nc'nean Distillery (check out their hand painted bottles). We enjoyed the dining/breakfast room as it offers a lot of natural light and views in all directions. This B&B would make a great hideaway for photographers, artists, writers, composers..... It is so peaceful!
