This hotel has several significant issues. EV charging is poorly managed, with gas cars frequently occupying the spots despite ample other parking. Staff presence is a problem; I experienced long waits for front desk assistance during a busy dinner period and difficulty finding staff in the kitchen during breakfast. Despite my Platinum Elite status, a room upgrade was refused. Furthermore, staff seemed unaware of membership benefits, initially charging me for complimentary breakfast, which was frustrating even though later corrected. Room service was subpar: only the bed was made and towels refilled. The floor wasn't vacuumed, and trash wasn't emptied. I regret tipping. A major warning: avoid rooms near the stairwell. With no elevators, all guests use the stairs, and the door creates significant noise. Our room next to the stairs meant no sleep until 2 AM and being woken by 5-6 AM due to guest traffic. For Yosemite visitors: be aware this hotel is a 2-hour drive (4-hour round trip) to Yosemite Valley. Consider lodging closer to the park's west entrance (approx. 20 minutes to the Valley) as this south-side location is not ideal for Yosemite trips.
