Hyped up. The hotel management is not transparent with age guidelines for the gym and spa. For example I was told no entry to anyone under 18, then they said 16 years with an adult? Which is it. It's not very clear on the hotels website either. Very false and a waste of money. Thee are better places.

A very friendly reception from the staff at check-in. We had been looking for a hotel in Nykoping that accepted pets (a Beagle) and I found this hotel. I had of course informed the hotel that we had a dog and when we got to the room there were two bowls on the floor with a very nice greeting from the hotel with a little bag of treats for the dog. A much appreciated feature! And good marketing! A very nice atrium to sit in with the dog and the breakfast was excellent and adequate size. I recommend this hotel!

Broken toilet. dirty room. My room was far away from everything. No information. No food, Locked out in swimtrousers. Staff knows nothing about service. offered a new room that was a downgrade. I had asked two times ahead if my room had a desk for my work. Staff said yes two times. Guess what? No desk. This is far away from anything. It was raining but no umbrellas. Four star hah!

It was our second time visiting this Spa hotel. This time on a g value Let's Deal offer, including room, Spa, dinner and breakfast. + The stafff really is quite attentive, most welcoming and extremely hospitable, all from reception, to restaurant and Spa. All smiles and what feels like a genuine wan to make your stay yhe best possible. The ambience in the restaurant, spa and lobby area is relaxing and it is very nicely decorated with tons of lovely lamps, wallpaper, furniture and flower settings (shout out to the great florist). A great, proper fully equiped, gym availlable 05-24 (must be open to non-hotel guests as it has several rooms and loads of machines, plus a swimming pool) Food is very good. Rooms spacious and again nicely decorated. The hotel place is very clean. - (not a complaint, but the only area I could have wished to be better). The Spa, while very relaxing, could do with a joint sauna. There is the nice lounge area and then two smaller warm pools (or if they are bigger Jacuzzis). Then there is a nice little corner with fish spa, that you can pay for, as well as treatment rooms with pay for treatments. I however would have liked a second area/thing to do. A dry sauna, steam room, wood fired relax, cold pool, sun room or just something along thise lines. I would also loved to have seen a bigger snack menu. We had the a platter, but it is the only option on the menu besides crisps and nuts or fruit.

Big pool, huge gym (that is NOT in a basement), great breakfast, and a pretty cool facility it being a former soap factory. On the negative side; no AC in the room, so if really warm outside the room was a bit too toasty. Also a bit unfortunate that staff didn’t inform us at check-in that the restaurant was closed due to midsummer. At check-in, the staff informed us that the breakfast was open till 11:00, but the kitchen staff took stuff away at 10:30. Resulting in not such a relaxing breakfast experience, which was a bummer (nothing to compensate offered when informing during checkout). A big plus with free parking and with the availability of four charging stations for electric cars. Anyhow, overall it was a great place to stay and I would book again.

We stayed here as a family of 5 during the Easter weekend. Unfortunately our family room was quite small, the sofa bed was blocking the entrance to the room and we had to move the sofa ourselves to be able to enter the room. The bathroom was way too small and shabby looking, the whole room was wet after someone took a shower. I would expect a larger and more modern bathroom for a 4* hotel. We woke up early from the sun shining into the room between the curtains which did not adequately block the light, which seems fitting for the “Sunlight” hotel. The swimming pool was large and provided lots of entertainment for the kids, and our toddler enjoyed the play corner. We wanted to play some cards or board games in the lounge one evening and they did not have any at the reception. I think that would be a nice addition for families. The breakfast spread was great, lots to choose from and the kids loved making their own waffles.
