We had a lovely tour of the Hill Club and learnt all about the fascinating history of the Followed by a lovely lunch in the historic dining room Staff are incredibly polite & helpful. The whole experience takes up back to time of the English & Scottish tea planters.

Very informative and fascinating would go again with other family members as it shows lots of heritage and historical value to Sri Lanka and you get to learn a lot about the history and about how monarchy from England have come over and the story behind all of it.

Very nice to have a cold Beer. We were given a very nice tour through the halls and afterwards drink a cold beer in the garden. Definitely a place worth to visit. Enjoy a very chilled beer in the garden. Nice beer in the garden very nice beer in the garden.

We stayed here for one night as part of a tour around Sri Lanka on our honeymoon. Our driver had told them in advance it was our honeymoon so they had a lovely towel heart made on our bed when we arrived, and they delivered us a lovely cake. The location was great, very close to the town, and beautiful gardens. It was a little cooler on the night we stayed and as part of the turn down service they put hot water bottles under the covers! Be aware this is a private members club so you have to wear formal wear (ie jacket, tie and trousers for men) to have dinner in the main restaurant and to use the rooms downstairs in the evening - we hadn't realised this and had not brought that attire so had to eat in a smaller back room in the evening, and were the only ones in there!

Badly in need of an update. Carpets torn, unfinished bathroom update. Staff greeted us and then spent time informing us Jacket, tie, etc must be worn in certain areas after 7pm. Meanwhile guests wanting a relaxed evening were squashed into other smaller areas. 😞
