Sunway Hotel Big Box

Booked Deluxe Plus rooms which was supposed to come with a King Bed and Sofa Bed but was given regular King Bed room without the Sofa bed. Decided not to change rooms since we were only staying for a night. Generally clean and well maintained except air-conditioning was not working that well and felt warm at night. Breakfast was good but no yogurt or soup available. Enjoyed the quiet location and shopping at Big Box.

Nice place, peaceful, good holiday for family

I had a late check-in for two rooms, and the experience was a mix of highs and lows. There were two front office staff on duty — one of them, Eizmeer, stood out for his friendliness and warm welcome. He took the time to patiently go through all the details with me and even assisted with our luggage for both rooms, which I really appreciated. Excellent service from him! On the other hand, the second staff member didn’t make eye contact or engage, which made the check-in feel a little uneven. That said, breakfast the next morning was a definite highlight — the food was delicious and a great way to start the day. Overall, Eizmeer’s service left a great impression, and I hope the rest of the team can reflect that same level of hospitality. The rooms were comfortable, and the location of the hotel is fantastic. There are plenty of amenities nearby, including shopping and food options, a cinema, and even a newly opened indoor playground for kids — which is a huge plus for families.
