In my experience, Premier Inn offer an excellent product for the price. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. However what always let them down was that, summer or winter the rooms were always too hot. And generally the windows barely open to ventilate the rooms. So I'm glad Premier Inn now offer Premier plus rooms which have proper AC. Having booked the room expressly for this feature, it was annoying that the AC appeared not to work. Also the instructions provided appeared to be for a different wall controller. Long story short I asked a member of staff who remotely enabled the AC in my room. Eventually the room was cooled enough to be comfortable. Why sell a room with a key feature disabled? The staff are clearly run off their feet but are polite and helpful. They do not need the extra job of enabling something in a room which should work regardless as you are paying extra precisely for this feature.
