"The Hotel Krynica is right next to the city’s ice arena and only a 10-15 minutes walk away from the downtown area. We were there with a large event and the hotel delivered perfectly on all aspects. Even their standard rooms are quite large and they have a variety of rooms in different sizes. The most impressive performance came from the kitchen and this was a big task as meal times basically blended one into the other. Nonetheless the food was always fresh and quickly refilled when running low. For the evenings the hotel also offers several bars and even dancing on selected evenings. The spa has also been a popular feature with saunas and a particularly well-heated steam room. The Hotel Krynica would be a welcome option on a return visit."

"We stayed with you last weekend with two little ones and our parents. Let's start from the beginning: we checked in after 5 p.m., and upon entering the apartment (two bedrooms and a kitchenette), we were hit with a blast of hot air. The temperature inside was so high that I tried to measure it with an electric thermometer, which also measures the room temperature – it read over 38 degrees Celsius, while the floor was 40 degrees Celsius. We reported this to the reception desk, and the maintenance guy arrived. He confirmed that it was indeed very hot, even though the thermostats were reading 16 degrees Celsius. He turned off the underfloor heating, and that was it. We started airing it out, but unfortunately, it didn't help much. We went out for dinner and turned on the air conditioning to 18 degrees Celsius. When we returned, the temperature was 35 degrees Celsius. The kids were fussy, so we had to put them to bed in this exorbitant temperature, unhealthy for such little ones. After the maintenance guy intervened, no one bothered to ask if there was any improvement. At 9 PM, the temperature was 30 degrees Celsius, the air conditioning was running non-stop. I emailed them so they wouldn't wake the children with their conversation, but I didn't receive a written response. The next day, after another email and a call to reception, we were finally offered a move to another apartment. It's safe to say we spent the entire day in the sauna, cooking with the children. This was the first unpleasant situation that went unnoticed by the manager. However, this wasn't our only unpleasant surprise during this trip. The entire weekend, the property was filming the program "Your 5 Minutes," so there were tons of people from the project team, the managers, and the entire security staff everywhere. They weren't bound by the hotel's rules – some people were riding electric scooters, with varying degrees of skill, making us afraid to let go of our children as we navigated the walkways between apartments. A drone was also flying on the property, despite a sign prohibiting drones being flown right by the entrance. While I was at the playground with my children (one toddler was sleeping in a stroller, the other was sliding down the slide), a security guard approached my child and asked him to leave because he was "interfering with the filming." The child was so frightened by a large man with a beard dressed in black that he started crying. The hotel did not inform us that any part of the hotel would be restricted during this period. This was also reported to the manager. We suggested that the filming crew was so aggressive in their activities that they should rent the property exclusively. I think that was our last stay there."

"Had an amazing day trip here! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. My sister and I had gotten to our room, which was very clean and modern, but it was only one bed. The staff immediately came up and split the beds into two and re-did all of the sheets,blankets,etc. We had not clarified before that we were siblings and not a couple so that was our fault. While checking in I was able to book a massage and facial day of with no issues and the massage and facial were 5 stars!! We went to the restaurant connected for dinner and all of our drinks and food were amazing! But nothing compared to the complimentary breakfast the following morning! Full spread of every breakfast item you could think of but extremely aesthetically pleasing! The food tasted as good as it had looked and there was also an espresso machine as well as fresh fruit juices. If I were to visit this town again I would 100% stay here again!!"

"We visited in April, so it was off season. The staff were universally friendly and helpful, especially Viola at the front desk. She spent much time helping us with day trip planning. The hotel was very clean and the restaurant made a very good breakfast and dinner. The bar, though small, was nice and they have a full sized pool table. There was ample parking and the location was terrific…surrounded by forest and ski areas. The pool and saunas were a nice addition and were well kept. Overall a great experience."
