The hotel conveniently places you in one of Englands most historic towns, with a wealth of things to do and see nearby. With a 20-25 minutes’ walk away from the town centre where you can get up to some serious shopping. Why not visit The Exchange - Nottinghams oldest shopping centre - or the Intu Victoria Centre, with over 120 stores and restaurants inside? Youll also be a short drive away from the famous Sherwood Forest, and many of Nottingham’s beautiful historical sites. Wed highly recommend heading to the City of Caves and taking a tour through Nottinghams hidden underground world. Nottingham Castle is also a hugely popular point of interest and gives a great insight into the story of Robin Hood.
The hotel sits in the heart of England, providing speedy links to many surrounding cities - so spread your wings and take a trip to Derby and Leicester. Leicester boasts in own selection of famed attractions, including the New Walk Museum, with plenty of natural history exhibits, and the National Space Centre which boasts six interactive galleries, a 3D Simulator and the UKs largest planetarium. If you choose to spend the day in Derby, check out the gothic Derby Cathedral and the classical country house Calke Abbey.

Weekend stay
Booked an executive room to stay whilst visiting friends, free parking on site was a bonus with bus stop right outside to go into city. Check in efficient and reception team all friendly and accommodating to help with information. Had a nice room at the front of building on first floor, spacious with a lovely big bath and shower. Bar and breakfast area looked comfortable but we didn't use as out and about. Would stay again.

The room was stiflingly hot (but the corridor was a sensible temperatur) the lighting ij the room was harsh and toilet cistern dripped noisly.

The tired looking exterior is deceiving for the pleasant interior. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with 2 double beds. It was extremely hot as there wasn't any air conditioning, only a plug in fan and it was 28° outside. Breakfast was good quality and value for money and had plenty of buffet options, plus you can order separately for no extra cost. The bathrooms were clean but needed updating as the shower wasn't powerful enough, and the towel rail wouldn't seem to turn off. Hotel is a great location, bus stop outside takes you straight into the city centre. It was a perfectly adequate hotel for a short stay for my son and I, whilst we were looking at universities in the area.

It was a hot summers day. The hotel didn't have AC but were happy to provide fans. The reception staff are lovely and make all the difference.

Fatima on the front desk,great check in,i was a bit stresaed to find a hotel that late at short botice,quiet,comfy rooms great bus stop outside that goes in city centre every 15 mins,great stay

Nice hotel, free parking. We were upgraded to an executive room which was massive! Comfortable bed, really quiet room. Breakfast could do with being a little bit better but it's alright for what you pay. Fatima on reception was lovely and welcoming, a real asset to your team. We will visit again when in the area.
