Hotel was in a convenient location after a long drive. Facilities were excellent with a restaurant onsite.

Room was very dated and decor was not great

We returned to the hotel where we were married, and thanks to Charlie and Tom, our stay was exceptional! We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite and had a private, romantic meal. They made our anniversary unforgettable! 5 stars 🌟 thank you.

Rob is the gem of The Ashbourne. Nothing is too much trouble and you never feel a nuisance. I wouldn’t hesitate in booking an event at The Ashbourne because of him and the added personal touch he provides. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our time with you, thank you!

We had our wedding at the Ashbourne on 30th August 2024 We can say that our experience was fantastic from start to finish They have 3 dedicated wedding planners/organisers Charley Andrew and Robert We actually had a little to do with them all as our wedding was a short notice one but all 3 of them and there teams was fantastic and service with a smile the whole way through from start to finish they was all great nothing was to much trouble with help on hand when ever we needed The venue is clean and very nice throughout including the grounds and even has ev charging points that are free to use!! The food is very good and good value for money The rooms are clean and of a good size, the team are not pushy and work with you to accommodate your budget but they can also help with all your needs to make your special day Special! In all I would say great quality and value 10/10 we will use the venue again in the future and will recommend, a massive thank you to the whole team

Had great afternoon tea for daughters birthday .very impressed with food and service. It really is a lovely hotel really clean and nice decor .hope more people support the hotel it was very quiet for a Fri. Would definitely recommend and return

Stayed overnight courtesy of my daughter and son in law paying as it was my 60th birthday..Evening meal mine and husbands was fabulous and I got a happy birthday plate with 2 mini puddings on and sung to by 2 staff and then breakfast just perfect and all the staff so friendly we had executive room which was lovely and we shall certainly do it again

Absolutely fantastic beauty and the beast themed afternoon tea. The food was delicious and the service second to none. Rob and the team were very attentive and could not have done anymore for us. We had a tour of the gardens - what a lovely hotel - highly recommended. We will definitely be back. Thankyou x

Had my sons wedding there yesterday, and from the first meeting until the end of the night we can't fault all the staff the ashbourne, from Rob, to the reception ladies, bar and kitchen staff and cleaning team the day was perfect! Everyone commented on what a lovely day it was. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone was so accommodating. If you want a seamless, amazing, and very special day I can't recommend enough.! Well done to the team, you're all fabulous!!
