The Crown at Marnhull arvostelua

Really sorry to say, that the meal was very disappointing. We had pre ordered as we were a group. The food was bland, and most of it tasted as if it had been reheated, and not cooked freshly. The lady behind the bar/ waitress was rude. Very over priced, for the food & drinks.

Birthday visit Would be nice to have a non-Hall and Woodhouse guest beer and a real cider. Otherwise excellent place to stay and eat. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely stay as always We had another lovely stay at the Crown. Have been here a number of times and is definitely our favourite pub and place to stay. Rooms are comfortable, clean and warm and warm, food is excellent and the beer and pub environment also excellent. All of the staff are really pleasant, attentive and nothing is too much trouble, Recommend the Crown to anybody

Our stay Hotel great, food and service excellent. Unfortunately traffic noise awful as all rooms very close to the road.

Excellent facilities Wonderful stay - 5 stars! Stunning room perfect for a family of 5, fully stocked with fresh milk, water and tea, hot chocolate and coffee. A fantastic breakfast too, highly recommended

Excellent family stay Excellent family stay. Highly recommended. Our only down side comment, the family room could do with an opening window, but as the room was so big, we coped with it. The Crown has a very interesting historical past.

Comfortable stay on hot day! We had a delightful stay at The Crown - the dinner menu & food in the pub was fantastic, the chickens on site in the pub garden entertained our little boys, the room was huge, comfortable and spotlessly clean with lovely touches such as milk and cold water in the fridge, a fan to keep us all cool (was a very hot day and night!), bath salts and excellent toiletries. The only negatives were overcooked poached eggs at breakfast, the fast road right outside being rather loud, and the TV Freeview was tricky to work and had a very slow remote which didn’t help. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Pleasant stay in country on A pleasant stay in an attractive country pub The room was spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The bed comfortable. The food was good especially the breakfast. It is in a pretty village good for walking outside. Plenty of parking. Would like to see double glazing on the windows as right by a road. However this isn’ta problem at night as very quiet and peaceful. The room was exceptional with vaulted beams and chandeliers. A lovely bathroom with pleasant toiletries but the shower shelf on the edge of the bath needs attention as it is worn and needs repainting. Overall a lovely experience.

A very welcome overnight stay. A very welcome overnight stay. The staff were fantastic, without exception. Helpful, smiling, friendly and professional. Some welcome tasty and healthy choices on the menu although the healthy breakfast bowl was very sweet (probably the berry compote). Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed but maybe a little tired. Overall excellent value and we would stay again.

Simply brilliant Superb place in every respect. Good food, very friendly, comfortable, relaxed and in a historic setting too.
