This castle stay was amazing!! Such a special place. The welcome on arrival by a member of staff was lovely. We were showed round the beautiful castle and then to our fabulous room. Staff are brilliant here. Breakfast was top class and Ann who served breakfast is a special lady. Nothing was too much trouble. Felt like we’d known her forever. Totally agree with other reviewers who say this place is unique - it certainly is!!! Wish we had booked longer so can’t wait to return.

We stayed at Roch Castle for 2 of 9 nights of our trip across Wales. It is a lovely place with a great staff and a wonderful ambiance. Breakfast was terrific too! We highly recommend the hotel and the experience. Truly special!

Had a lovely time at Roch Castle for my birthday.
Staff were polite, and went the extra mile by leaving a very cool birthday card and bottle of wine in the room, as well as leaving petals on the bed spelling 'Happy Birthday'.
Some people wouldnt like it, but I liked the fact the petals were fabric and not real. Better for the environment by leaving flowers in their full splendour. Plus avoids critters and mess in the room.
Clean, tidy, gorgeous interiors with the quirk and magic of being a real castle.
Breakfast offered a wide range of choices, from pastries, cereal, and cooked breakfasts.
We enjoyed a nice Vegetarian breakfast with a rare treat of two sausage choices. Glamorgan, or Richmond. A refreshing change and superior choices compared to other mostly used brands of veggie sausage.
The self serve honesty bar in the sun room is a welcomed touch and very useful in the evenings.
The staff were also helpful when offering tips, advice, and suggestions of things to do in the local area.
It was nice to have an opportunity to have a breif chat where staff took an interest in what guests had done the day before, or what ther plans were for that day.
Thankful that when we left an item of clothing, they found it and returned it to us.
Honestly, quite a magical experience.

Little more to say than it’s a B&B opportunity in a castle! But this is topped off by friendly and attentive staff and an excellent breakfast! A definite stay if you are touring south/west Wales.

This is our second stay this year. Again, it was a wonderful experience. So good we have already booked again for next year. The hotel continues to offer an extremely high standard of accommodation and customer service. We would highly recommend if you need a little piece of calm away from the hectic world!

We visited for 2 nights to celebrate my wife's 60th Birthday and Retirement. What a special place and everything was perfect in every sense. Two nights and 3 days later we are both fully refreshed and relaxed We met some lovely people, the staff were brilliant and the attention to detail is wonderful

This was truly a 5 star experience! The Castle is spectacular and the service was world class. From the moment we stepped in the front door to when we settled our bill the staff went out of their way to make this a memorable stay. The lounge was outstanding and the wine selection was very good. Special shout out for the Welsh Cakes, We are officially hooked on them. A must place to stay if you're exploring the South West coast of Wales

Roch castle is a beautifully restored 12th century stone castle with a long and interesting history. We were blown away by how tasteful and considerate the renovation was. It was if we’d stepped back in time. The girls working there we’re really lovely and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was excellent. We have booked to return next year, couldn’t fault it.
