Tam Coc Banana Bungalow

We loved everything about this hotel from the time of check-in until check out. The friendliness and warm welcome of the staffs, the excellent food options in the restaurant, the varieties of food, the incredibly spacious room, the outdoor pool , housekeeping and the impressively fast laundry service. Thank you team for making us feel home and providing is with such a comfortable and memorable stay. Just one thing to request, please keep menu and information available in English for us to understand. We do have certain food preferences which we are very considerate about and that will be very helpful otherwise. We would absolutely love to return to u once again.

Unfortunately we needed to leave this place due to the noise level. We really needed to relax and have a good nights sleep and this place did not offer that. Some karaoke place was right next door, even though ended early still very noisy and not suitable for us. The breakfast was not nice but eggs and toast and fruit was fine. I would not stay again I am afraid to say and we did check out early. But if you are young and looking for a cheaper place they are very friendly and have bikes and I would recommend:) Pool area is great.

Good value for money. Free bike rental made it easy to get around to all the local sights. Breakfast and food offerings were below average. Room was really clean and the bathroom was cool. Very noisy in the morning with local roosters from the crack of dawn. Really funky setting too. The communal bathrooms were really unclean as a watch out.

The staff were friendly and spoke reasonable English to assist when required. The free bikes weren't in great condition but were very handy for going to town or seeing the closer sites in the area (we rode to Trang An and Hang Mua via the Google walking direction to avoid traffic) The breakfast buffet had a pretty good selection for the price point. The mini bar prices in the rooms were also very fair. Pool and surrounding garden was very well maintained, although no extra towels in the towel cabinet next to pool. The staff arranged a private car to take us to Ninh Binh station for 100,000 dong. We chose this for a tranquil rural setting but this was not the case. The roosters woke us up at 5am or earlier every day, there was some industrial factory across the creek that only worked at night and on our last night there was a big school group that were very noisy. The walk or bike ride from town was annoying in the end and there were no good views from around the property. I would stay closer in town overlooking Tam Coc lake next time. For what we paid the rooms and facilities were ok, but not stand out value. Also note 3% surcharge for card payments.

This is the best hostel ever!!! Myself and my partner visited and we had the most amazing stay! So clean and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. We had a lovely breakfast and even got free bikes included in the stay! We wish we had longer in Ninh Binh just so we could stay at this place again, no where else compares (hostel wise, within Vietnam), you will NOT regret this booking

We stayed at another place nearby but stumbled on this place while out biking so we switched, mainly because the pool looked better for our little one. It was a great decision. The place got everything we needed - a pool, nice beds, clean rooms and facilities , quiet, decent food, bikes. We biked to the Tam Coc boat station, among the rice fields, Mua Cave, and wanted to bike to a few other attractions but ran out of time. We would stay there again.
