Since we arrived late, they specially held our afternoon tea set and brought it to our room. They also surprised us with a beautiful and delicious cake, probably because I mentioned we were on our honeymoon. On the first floor, there's a common area where you can watch movies, and someone was freshly grilling local milk fans, plus they serve really good butter tea. They even have unique cards made from Lugu Lake grass seeds that you can plant – very special! Breakfast was abundant. Overall, it was truly amazing. My only regret is that our itinerary made us check in late and check out early, so we didn't get to fully enjoy the scenery, which is a real shame."

"The room has an interesting layout. The night was very cold and the heater in the room was easy to operate and worked extremely well. The hotel is walking distance to the nearby courtyard where they have the bonfire cultural performance at night. The toilet and shower area is kinda small, but I guess it is still deemed okay for a one night stopover. Lots of construction going on in the Lugu town, but the workers knocked off at 6pm and only began at 9am, so it did not affect me. Quite a few guests staying in the hotel despite the abundance of choices in the area and the low peak season."

The restaurant also had high chairs and tableware for children. 3. The staff provided exceptional service! We truly felt looked after. They even helped us plan our sightseeing routes. Since it was cold in winter, and everyone was tired from exploring all day and didn't want to go out to find food, we ended up eating at the hotel restaurant for three meals, and each one was fantastic! You could tell a lot of thought went into the breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner. Finally, two very thoughtful details: 1. Coming in winter meant big temperature swings between day and night. The staff put protective covers on our car every evening to prevent frost in the morning. This level of thoughtfulness was amazing, thank you. 2. We happened to see them harvesting matsutake mushrooms when we arrived, and the owner even gave us a taste of their homemade mushroom oil. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious! Travel: The B&B is located in Sanjia Village, not far from the bustling Daluo River and the various docks.
