Nimbin Waterfall Retreat

Loved the waterfall. Peaceful surrounds with a few animals on the property like the horses and ducks also the frogs at night and wallabies in the morning...a lovely experience thank you

One of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. I was so looking forward to our three nights at Nimbin but what we got was not what we thought we had booked, was seriously overpriced and very uncomfortable. The location was good and the waterfall was pretty.

Beautiful place to stay with lots of wildlife. Handmade soap was lovely too!

A long running and successful accommodation business with great value accommodation in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Please disregard the negative reviews. The host has been running holiday accommodation for a long time with dozens of great reviews, check the Google reviews on this property, you will have no problems staying here at all.

Was horrible I am taking legal action We were put in a different room (I have proof ) and it had no running water toilet or shower No one helped us And I was denied a full refund They had no smoke alarms and door didn’t lock We drive 6 hours and had 2 kids and one with needs,he needed ti be cleaned and at 11pm not water *********** did not help or move us No one helped The stay was disgusting The owner said her daughter was in labour so they were busy We couldn’t go to the tiolet Or I could not shower and I had issues as a woman and needed to I also got a tick from water fall And am now sick and depressed about how we were treated Do not stay there She is horrible

The photos show the retreat in a far more positive light than what it actually is. We arrived to piles of rubbish and clutter all around the verandah. The hammock stand was there however the hammock was slung over a random exercise trampoline in the deck. The cooking burners in the "kitchen" were filthy. The soap was wet, and the room smelt damp. It's very small and stifling with no fan or air conditioning The waterfall is very pretty. Far more than a five minute walk which includes climbing over an electric fence. While we were at the Waterfall the host left a rather aggressive message in my phone saying that we had cancelled our booking so why was our car in the property. We had not cancelled and it turned out that she had us confused with someone else. She had a conversation with me where she wouldn't go away, taking no notice of my tone or the fact that she was repeating everything she had said to me an hour previously in the phone. The kitchen is a sink and bar fridge in a verandah, there is no roof between the bathroom and room meaning you will get wet if it rains and the water is cut off at 9 at night. There were cobwebs everywhere and the walls are so thin you can hear everything from the house including the host using the toilet. There were c We left and drive three and a half hours home rather than say there. Easiest money she has ever made. There were also cobwebs everywhere and ants all over the filthy sponge on the outdoor sink.
