Coastal Grand Resort - Ooty

Coastal Grand Resort is good and located at amazing place to view Tea garden and Karnataka Siri garden. Wonderful Staff , special thanks to Gajan, Siva,Kevin. Delicious food prepared by Chef Rajasekhar. Kanan gardener is a such a nice person. totally I am Happy with Resort and staff.

The property location is good.. but not well maintained. it's under staffed.. and so under staff that the manager has to do everything including food serving, room service, check in check out etc. We do not get the experience that we expected. it can't be tagged as a resort.. no amenities.. the room is with TV but that will not work. they provide lock and key as Door inbuilt lock not working. not provided with toiletries.. geyser water heating capacity not ok.. Harding 1/2 bucket in 1 hours.. I would say the stay experience and price is not matching.. it's over priced.. and people whose first priority is experience of what you are paying plz don't choose this so called resort..they provide breakfast that is good..ok type..

Would never book this place again Rooms were not cleaned, even the bed sheets and linen were not changed. Bathroom was very dirty too with sides of sink broken. On top of this there was no water in the bathroom in the morning.

The room i got and it's not worth it. It was just 1000- worth room. This room is not suitable for families. This property can only serve the purpose of bed. We can't expect anything else from this. Just by seeing the photos uploaded by the owner and book the room. Because, there is lot of difference between the photos i saw before booking and real fact after i visited. Even i struggle a lot to take bath in the morning without hot water. I used kettle to make the hot water. Just think how horrible this is in the ooty temperature. Also, i told them to recharge the tv, but they didn't do it. Also they given the drinking water after we asked them. They don't have proper hotel culture. Coming to room environment, everything is broken. Window glass, main door lock. Bathroom lock, inside door handle. It's so horrible.

Stay was very pleasant. Spacious rooms with hot water in bathroom. Breakfast spread was good.

Rooms are very old. They have not even changed the bed sheets. I have seen lot of hair on the pillows which means they have not changed the pillow covers. Bathrooms are not clean. Only location is good. Food is ok. Overall very expensive for the services they have provided
