Villa Saint Exupery Beach Hostel

WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD. The curtains are transparent - even my sunscreen is better at blocking out sunlight. Soundproofing is poor, we could hear our neighbors getting ready next door, taking the stairs, slamming their doors etc., not to mention the partygoers chatting downstairs (we lived on the third floor). The elevator wasn’t working when we checked in so we had to get our 20 kg suitcases up the stairs ourselves - apparently, the elevator frequently breaks down because people always overload it. The bedding is nearly threadbare, and the quilt is rough like flaking de@d skin. If you turn up the AC above 15°C, it automatically switches off after a few minutes. Most unpleasant is the bathroom, which is always moist due to the lack of ventilation; you could only open the window if you don’t mind getting a face full of cigarette fumes from outside. When I talked to the hostel manager/owner J0nathan about this, he dismissed my concerns and insisted there was nothing wrong with the rooms. He is easily the most disr3spectful person I’ve encountered in Nice. His three arguments were: no one has complained about this (he did not read the google reviews), everyone gets the same set of curtains, beddings etc and therefore there is nothing wrong with it (logical fallacy because that could mean everyone gets the same substandard equipment) and no refund is possible because “that is not the way things are done here”. The only thing I liked about the hostel was the location.

The receptionist at the front desk is awesome, she helped me to carry the luggage as the elevator was down , there is a tall n handsome handy man running about for the errands, give me direction of where the bus stop is , the specky girl is very helpful as well.All in all this is a very nice hotel, I will definitely recommend to friends if they were to go Nice.

Nice apartment with good amenities just that the location is a disadvantage as nothing really happens in the environment.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here, the location was great and I had a comfortable stay. I’d definitely come here again if I happen to come back to nice.

Отличный молодёжный хостел, с очень удачным расположением - в самом центре, в 5 минутах ходьбы от набережной. Понравилось, что в хостеле есть кухня, есть столы с розетками (где можно поработать за своим ноутбуком). Также есть фитнес зал, сауна (не пользовался). В комнатах есть шкафчики, довольно вместительные, но нужен свой замок. За карточку, открывающую двери, нужно внести депозит 3€, при выселении возвращают. Очень доволен пребыванием в данном хостеле. И кстати, до ближайшего Lidl всего 10 минут. Было чисто и уютно.

Хорошее расположение. У нас в отдельной комнате была раскладушка с матрасом, а не кровать. Есть большое общее пространство.
