Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge

If you want to see " cats" and stay in luxury, Ndutu is the place! Rooms are sunning with great facilities. Meals were superb, and the staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Sightings in that area were next level! We saw lions, cheetah, and leopard. Game vehicles are allowed to go off road, and you have great photographic opportunities.

Loved our room and porch! The food was delicious and I loved that it was buffet! The staff was great! The views from the viewing deck are wonderful! Be sure to check out the stars at night. Loved that a fan is offered at night. My only complaint would be the water pressure is horrendous compared to all the other places we stayed in the bush. We also felt like we could not get the soap off of us. Would recommend and stay again!

Ya los rinocerontes entre los 5 grandes LA GRAN MIGRACIÓN A finales de diciembre, los 2 millones de animales que participan en la Gran Migración llegan a Ndutu. Ñus, cebras y gacelas llegan para dar a luz a sus crías y se quedan aquí hasta abril. De diciembre a marzo, nacen miles de animales cada día. La hierba de esta zona es rica en nutrientes para las crías. Y como es corta, los adultos pueden identificar a los depredadores que se acercan desde lejos. Ndutu es una región muy hermosa. Es la única reserva natural de Tanzania en la que está permitido conducir fuera de la carretera para acercarte a los animales. Durante la época de partos, también llegan muchos depredadores, (leones, guepardos, leopardos, hienas y perros salvajes) en busca de una presa fácil (las crías). LAGO NDUTU El mejor lugar para ver animales está en los alrededores del lago Ndutu. Se trata de un lago alcalino poco profundo situado en el límite oriental del Parque Nacional del Serengueti. En 1973, se realizó una excavación arqueológica en sus orillas de unos 140 m² que permitió descubrir el cráneo de Ndutu y varios restos de herramientas de hace más de 500 000 años. En la actualidad, sirve como fuente de agua para los animales y comparte la misma cuenca que el lago Masek. Los bosques y los Kopjes de granito que rodean el lago Ndutu también albergan muchos animales fuera de los meses de migración.

Wir dürfen zwei Nächte in dieser wunderschönen Lodge verbringen. Die Zelte sind wunderschön und bequem eingerichtet. Bei unserer Ankunft stand eine Giraffe zur Begrüßung vor unserer Terasse. Später besuchten uns noch ein paar Zebras und größten friedlich nur zwei Meter entfernt. Das Restaurant war ausgezeichnet. Es gab Buffet und alles war ausgesprochen lecker. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

We stayed 2 nights at this camp. The chef was particularly good & accommodated my veggie options. The food was excellent! The staff were very attentive & the manager made sure that all our needs were met. The rooms were big & clean, with a mosquito net over the beds every night.

Die Lodge liegt wunderschön am Ndutu Lake am Rande der Serengeti mitten in der Wildnis. Sie wachen morgens auf, und Zebras stehen Ihnen gegenüber, phantastisch. Die Lodge ist wunderschön und besticht durch Ihre freundlichen Mitarbeiter, herzlichen Dank an Anthony, der uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt hat. Wir können die Lodge nur weiterempfehlen. Die Outdoordusche ist natürlich super, man kommt von der Safari zurück und kann unter freiem Himmel Duschen, einfach toll. Auch das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut und abwechslungsreich.
