AC Hotel Newtown Square

Great area. Beautiful hotel. Drinks at bar were a bit pricy but good.

I had high hopes for the AC Hotel Newtown Square, especially since it was recently opened. The location is excellent. The rooms were quiet and the bed was comfortable. Now, onto the problems. Most problematic of all, there are zero outlets available in the entrance-way where the only mirror is located. Since the shower is clear glass, this means that if someone is taking a shower, there is no other place for someone to use a hairdryer or other electrical hair appliances to get ready. This was an unexpected problem for us. The chair at the desk is terribly uncomfortable. I wish I had taken a photo, but imagine a severe, right-angled, almost unpadded gray chair (without wheels), and that's what was in the room at the desk. I could not get any work done at the desk due to how painful the chair was on my back. The bathroom had no lotion (not even a large pump bottle). There were a lot of long, brown hairs on the bathroom floor when we initially entered the bathroom and there were no tissues (or even an empty tissue box) in the tissue box holder. Finally, the hotel has a lovely coffee machine in the lobby, but apparently that is only to be used by guests who order a full breakfast in the restaurant.
