Booked this beautiful hotel for my husbands birthday, stayed Sunday to Tuesday with a spa day booked on the Monday Our room was lovely and the views were stunning! We had dinner at The RenMor - The staff were so lovely and the food was amazing! Also had breakfast.. again amazing! such a selection to choose from and we were always quick to be seated The spa day was so relaxing we had the couples massage followed by the afternoon tea which I would definitely recommend! Later that evening we popped down to The Deck for Pizza and a cocktail and watched the sunset which was perfect All staff went above and beyond - They all wished my husband a happy birthday and they were all so friendly - thank you for making our stay so special 🥰

A fabulous week in a cottage. Couldn't have wanted more, the cottage was comfortable, well equipped, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits upon arrival. Molton brown toiletries. Comfortable bed and pillows Cottage was serviced daily by housekeeping staff (sterling job) always cheerful and friendly when we saw them around the village. Excellent breakfasts served by welcoming and helpful staff, not forgetting he poached eggs (when i had them) cooked to perfection.

We have just returned from an offer we saw which was a Trio of delights, a stay in a cottage, an evening meal and spa treatment. All I can say what wonderful value for money, we hadn’t been to the Headland for five years and wow all I can say is the place is getting better with age. The refurbishments that have been done the wonderful Aqua which available anytime in your stay is all amazing not forgetting the breath taking views of fistral beach. The staff right from the start were extremely helpful and polite. We liked the laid back feel of the place but also the indulgent luxury, we most certainly leave it so long again. Thankyou

We often eat here, but will reconsider in the future. We know that the restaurant was closing the next day for refurbishment, but surely the kitchens should still be at full capacity? Our lunchtime meal was very poor quality, a complete contrast to the usual offerings. The fish and chips = fish only lukewarm. Burger = burger, but not all of the trimmings with it. Tomato soup = indifferent. Coronation Chicken sandwich = offering much reduced and served on a much smaller plate - an attempt to make it look larger? Tomato and asparagus bruschetta = slice of toast with a great deal of chopped tomato and 3 small slivers of asparagus. During the meal, no member of staff came to ask if the meal was ok. This whole meal was supposed to be a special birthday meal. Complaining to the staff resulted in apologies and a reduction of the bill, but we would have preferred a memorable meal.

Went for the sunrise breakfast and Aquaclub today. Waited over an hour from ordering food for breakfast. When you pay £55 for 2 hours at aquaclub plus a bit of breakfast and hours wait really is very poor

Two night stay, in lovely room with massive sea views. Cool, cloudy & heavy rain outside but good food & service inside. 1st return in 6 years so pleased to see very busy hotel even outside of school holidays. An expensive stay but oh what a treat! & the new pool complex is worth a visit, heated swimming in the open cold & wet weather a new experience!

People need to remember when doing reviews the saying "You're not at home you're on holiday!" But staying at The Headlands is nearly like being at home. Very cosy and comfy, very clean , gorgeous food and lovely staff. The spa is great! Top tip, grab a cocktail and watch the sunset .

just returned from a wonderful stay, mum and daughter treat, we were upgraded from the grounds double to a Fistral double which was very much appreciated we were in room 230 which was a lovely room very well appointed and fantastic views. We stayed bed and breakfast, the breakfast was really good quality with views over the ocean, The staff in every area always friendly and happy to help wherever they could, both the inside and outside spas were lovely, the only other restaurant we ate in was the Terrace and the service was good and the food very tasty. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we’ll be looking to return ourselves.

Myself and my partner stayed 2 nights at The Headland last weekend. The drive up to the hotel gave us an expectation of the treat we were in for. The building is iconic. Absolutely beautiful. On arrival we were greeted warmly at reception and told we had an upgrade to our room. Instead of a double room we had a suite! It was beautiful and so clean We had a couple of walks along the coast path, enjoyed dining in the restaurants at the Hotel. The spa is lovely but busy in the afternoon. Sarah, the Concierge, gave us a talk on the history of the hotel which was fascinating. All the staff are lovely. We would love to stay again, but next time for longer!
