We arrived mid evening after a long day of travel. Heading from Atlanta to the gulf it’s about 30 min from the Atlanta airport. We were greeted by Robin at the front desk who made us feel welcome and made the check in process super quick. Always nice to be greeted by friendly folks at the front desk and Robin was that. This is a very nice Candlewood. Very new at this writing. The grounds are beautiful well maintained and lush. The rooms and corridors very clean. We found the bed quite comfortable. Sheets were super comfy also. All the counters and desk surfaces were super clean as well as were any dishes we used. They have a well stocked market to buy snacks and stuff. We also liked the on demand coffee in the lobby. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay if staying in Newman or needing a place near Atlanta. It is a great location. Close to many restaurants and businesses. The room was nice and spacious. It had a dresser with many drawers, desk and kitchen. I did have to cover the clock on the microwave because it let up the room. It had everything we needed and more.

If you stay here for no other reason other than MONICA you’ll be so happy. She’s at the desk and has a personality and smile that radiates happiness, joy and friendliness. She invites you into the Candlewood likes she’s inviting you into her home. The suites are average suites and aren’t anything extraordinary. They are clean with comfortable beds/pillows. We stayed here so my husband could go to CITY OF HOPE for chemotherapy. She was so kind, caring and genuinely compassionate. We absolutely will be where we continue to stay and she’s the reason. Y’all have a good one with Monica!! ❤️

The plus to this hotel is you can smell the clean the rooms. Bleach and pine all are powerful. I left Bluetooth in the room. Called the hotel and they of course went and got it and put in the managers office. Had to call the next day to see about them mailing it to me, since I was 5+ hours away. The manager would mail them but only if I had FedEx or UPS pick up, meaning I had to arrange the pick up and send them the shipping label AND some how get them the box to package it in. They refused to take to post office and mail and allow me to pay them for the shipment. I have NEVER had this happen where the hotel would not mail something I had left. One mailed my sunglasses to me, they were $276 sunglasses. No issues from them. Customer service was lacking with them. Thank goodness I had an o-worker still in the area who went to pick them up. Based on this experience, I will not stay there again.

Easy hotel to get to. Plenty of shopping, gas and food options nearby. Easy check in. Hotel is clean throughout. Great rooms with comfortable bed and pillows. Nice area to work in room. Big bathroom clean and great shower. Nice gym and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Hotel is good. Easy check in. Nice snack/food pantry. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the soft and firm pillows. Spacious room. loved the large shower. Room 407 is outside a central AC unit, so we heard that run off and on every 5 min or so and it was loud. We almost swapped rooms but decided our noise machine would help, and it did. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room anyway. The scented cleaning products lingered strongly in the room, which was bothersome to a sensitive nose.

Although the price of the room is inexpensive, that is basically all you get-a room-unless you are an extended stay person. In that case you get a kitchenette and utensils. For a two night stay there was no maid service. There was a refrigerator but it took the ice maker 24 hours to make enough for two drinks. The shower is a lawsuit waiting to happen. No grab bar. A completely smooth floor and a door that won’t close.

What a beautiful Hotel.We we’re heading to Panama City for the Labor Day weekend.On our way decided to stop at this hotel in Newnan.The lobby smelled awesome.The room was very spacious.I wish we could stay for more days.I will be definitely come back next year

My family always travel to Georgia for our reunion and stay in Newnan. This is our first time staying with Candlewood suites & it was pleasant & problematic. I will say, I will stay at this location again but hope my request for a 1st or 2nd floor can be fulfilled. My room was a king 1 bed suite (560 sq ft). Nice and roomy for my family and dog. (Pet friendly hotel) The first room they gave us had a very distinct odor and they moved us to the 4th floor. That room was immaculate. Only problem was, the elevator went down our second day there and into the next day. I was told this wasn't the first time this happened. I'm not young and athletic so going up and down from the 4th floor wasn't easy or ideal with a 9 year old dog. That was the only problem we had. Front desk clerk Monica and the young man at the front was a breath of fresh air. Nice and reassuring through this whole chaos of room change and elevator mishap. The pool was refreshing and they do have a nice gym and free laundry. The hotel is centrally located near shops, restaurants and Ashley Park Mall.
