It was a well run Premier Inn, staff were friendly at reception. The room looked clean and had everything you would expect from the hotel chain, including the purple led behind the headboard. The bathroom was basic but again clean. The bed extremely comfortable with the choice of soft or firm pillows. Breakfast was in the Brewers Fayre next door. There’s nothing special about this pub but it served a good selection of breakfast staples including fruit, yoghurt, muffins and a full English. We also ate dinner at Brewers Fayre which was again a nice convenient place to eat. I had a Katsu Curry which was tasty. It was a great stopover for a trip to Liverpool to spread out the journey.

Staff were very helpful and had a lovely stay. Shout out to Bridget who was lovely and helped a lot, she found me a phone charger as I had forgotten mine. Rooms were lovely, clean , breakfast was good. Would definitely book again probably next year when we visit

Clean, comfortable, car parking easy - must log your car on screen. Reasonable price. However I booked for 2 people and we only got one bath and hand towel. I could have asked at reception but had a towel with me anyway. Why would they put us in a room prepared for one person?

I seem to live my life staying in Premier Inns all over the UK for work and nearly always eat in the bar attached. I stayed here in Newcastle under Lynne for 3 nights and the food and service at the brewers fare next door was so much better than you usually get. Recognition for Tammy, great service

Another wait at reception for a 1500 check-in. Like naughty school children waiting at the headmasters office. So petty of Premier Inn. It is about time I started to shop around for other hotels as it is my own laziness that makes me put up with these poor levels of service.#premierinnanotherbadexperience!

Great service Emma was lovely and helpful, will be back next time we visit family, comfy beds and great breakfast and loads of choice. Easy check in and accommodated our needs and gave us extra key in case my mother in law needed us during the night

Quick one night stop over. Clean and up to the usual Premier Inn standards. Staff all lovely especially Bridget on reception. Thanks for all your hard work Room was spotless and comfy. Nice area to stay and visit. Breakfast was well presented and I enjoyed it. I will return

Stayed here last weekend just for one night for a birthday celebration with friends. We were welcomed by a lovely receptionist named Tommy. Everything was explained about our stay and we had a lovely room. The bed was really comfortable and the pillows just to my liking. I had a really good night's sleep. Really enjoyed our breakfast the next day. The hotel is close to so many different places that we found it perfect for our stay. They also have their own car park which is great. Special thanks to Tommy for all his help. Great place to stay. Can't wait to come back again.

Great hotel mainly due to the staff. The place was clean and comfortable as you may expect in a premier inn but Bridget on reception went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable, even getting de-icer out of her own car to help us get into our car with frozen locks. Checked in with us afterwards to see what else she could do to help, she really deserves all the compliments as it's lovely staff like her that make all the difference
