Newbury Town Centre South A339

Premier Inn Newbury (339) was clean, tidy and friendly. The staff really looked after me during my solo stay there for 5 days. The bed was super comfy, it was good quiet nights sleeping. The breakfast is amazing - they could do with gluten free toast but everything was cooked really well and there was a lot of it! I would recommend this hotel, really good value - I think I paid £200 for 5 nights which is excellent value.

Amazing stay,always come here. Tucked out of the way,probably the best Premier inn weve stayed in. Staff couldn’t be more helpful, Tammie & Jane looked after us at Breakfast. Didn’t use the restaurant this time,for dinner but we have done previously. Comfortable & clean rooms, with free parking. Will see you guys again soon. Thank you

We use this Premier inn to visit family after we moved from Newbury to the North East We wanted to do an early check in and was told it was now £15 which I was not prepared to pay when my confirmation EMail said it was still £10. After a phone call to PI they honoured to £10. Returning to the reception the lady (Paula) could not apologise enough that it was a lack of communication handed down from management, she didn’t charge us the £10 and gave us complementary breakfast for our stay. The way Paula dealt with with the problem was very professional and a credit to premier inn. This could have made our decision to return in future a very different story, but we will be returning due to the way Paula handled the miss understanding

Working in hospitality myself, I am more than aware of the challenges hotel staff are faced with daily. I’d like to express my gratitude to the team at Newbury Premier Inn south, who go above and beyond for their guests no matter the challenges they are faced with. You have an exemplary team here and always deliver an excellent stay. From the welcome, to the standard of cleanliness of the rooms, food and service. Always a pleasure to stay here. Thank you.

Stayed here numerous times, usually a five star, this time only 4 as there was supply problem leading to a shortage of toilet paper. That said, would stay again when in the area. Nearby supermarket and shops a bonus. Buses into Newbury nearby or a 25 minute walk.

Very average hotel. Staff were friendly. Was given an end room which was a bit odd. Didn't even have a window that opened. Room was oddly set out and freezing. No central heating. Heater can't be worked in room, reception have to change temp for you. So then you have go back later if too warm or want it off at night as it makes a noise. Then in the morning, like an icebox again. Room in general wasn't cleaned great and stains in toilet too. 2 towels which stayed wet, so hard to dry after morning shower. Restaurant has a canteen feel and mixed grill was very average, low quality food. Glad I was only staying one night for business. Pretty poor.
