during a 40-day stay in the hotel, our room was not cleaned even once, not to mention that someone asked us if we needed new towels, sheets, and we bought the toilet paper ourselves! The service is not bad, it is lacking at all, this hotel lacks any kind of management Towels scattered in the corridors, strollers left for days, and in the event of a fire, exiting the corridors would be more than difficult! Generally speaking, if pets were not allowed in the hotel, I would not stay even 5 minutes there for anything in the world!

Extremely enjoyable stay at Chieveley Travelodge. Neat and clean bed and bathroom. Spacious for luggage as most of the hotel has no space for luggage. Receptionist was also well mannered and polite. Free car park nowadays is always a surprise.

During my recent trip, I stayed at Travelodge Newbury Chieveley and it was a pleasant and hassle-free experience. Known for its affordability and convenience, Travelodge provided a clean and comfortable stay with excellent customer service. Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth, thanks to Sanjay at reception, who was extremely polite and helpful. He greeted me warmly and ensured that everything was in order for my stay. His friendly attitude made a great first impression. My room was clean and cozy, equipped with a comfortable bed, fresh linens, a TV, tea/coffee facilities.The bathroom was spotless, with good water pressure in the shower. Despite being near a busy area, the room was quiet, allowing for a restful night’s sleep.

Was a little apprehensive as I knew this was an older hotel and just lately not had the best of experiences. That said this stay was 10/10. the staff member we dealt with was fantastic, genuinely made us feel welcome and was extremely helpful. Rooms were immaculate, clean, fresh, lovely temperature, just right. I think maybe the room had been recently refurbished as it was immaculate as was our Bathroom. Have to say the whole experience was 10/10. We were their the evening of 23rd March 2025.

A great value stay. Used Travelodge as an overnight stopover heading to the west country. Usual Travelodge set up, room was clean and comfortable, bed & pillows very good. Staff were friendly and we received a warm welcome on arrival. Only criticism was that our room faced the M4 so background traffic noise was always there. Maybe rooms at the back are quieter? Overall, £25 for 2 adults is amazing value and I would recommend Chieveley as a great place to stay and break up your journey.

Good place to stay, lots of free parking, services on the doorstep. Sanjay at the reception is a top man, if you need anything just ask him 🙂🙂. I will be staying here again , rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable . I would recommend going to the market at Hungerford on a Wednesday, also there are some very good antique shops

We stay at this Travelodge often as it has a central location for travel to Newbury, Reading and Oxford. Sanjay at reception is a diamond, nothing is too much trouble, he's been very helpful every time we've stayed, the rooms are a good size and always clean

Clean and fresh rooms, wifi had to be paid for after 30 minutes. Breakfast was in a box with no area to sit and eat it. We had to eat it in the car...no very pleasant.
