Additionally, upon check-in, they demanded an additional payment, claiming they could not verify my payment history. I will never visit this place again."

"I stayed at the Trump Hotel last year, so I'm a regular customer. But why is this hotel charging my credit card so randomly this year? I don't drink alcohol at all, and I never touched the wine in the mini-bar, yet the hotel charged me $160. I tried to reply to the email, but the system said the hotel's email address didn't exist. I didn't carry any cash and even asked the front desk to exchange $50 for tips for the doorman and housekeeping, so I had no reason to hide any charges. This hotel management is extremely disappointing. I've stayed in so many five-star hotels in China, and I've never encountered anything like this. I will never stay at this hotel again."

"This hotel is in the perfect location. It’s close enough to plenty of bars and restaurants without being too loud or busy. The room was small but as expected for a NY hotel. We were grateful for a good working a/c unit which we could adjust to warm or cool the room as we wanted. TV had Netflix (own login). Breakfast was good, only a few cooked options which could’ve been improved but fresh waffles was a nice highlight! Some breakfast times were super busy and there were queues but we personally avoided this by going early."

"The staff here are extremely friendly, accommodating, and thoughtful of all the guests. I didn't have a single negative interaction with them, and as long as you're respectful of them and the other guests (as well as quiet during quiet hours and following the very simple rules) you shouldn't either. The bathrooms completely surprised me with how clean they were, I didn't see any mess a single time, the water for the showers and sinks are always hot, and the other guests are as polite and considerate as they can be. The actual sleeping space, despite its size, has all you'll need, a replaceable bath towel, a very nice, neat bed, a deceptively good sized trash can, a little desk for any extra appliances that also has a fan, and plenty of storage room under the bed and desk. I never felt unsafe while I was here. The breakfast is a bonus on top of all of that, unfortunately I couldn't eat much of it due to time, but there was always something available when I saw the offerings. Great local"
