The Riverview Hotel - New Smyrna Beach

This hotel is surrounded by a Great spa and restaurant plus a lovely cafe , That's the best part ,the hotel is a run down themed Victoria roomed small hotel ,don't often comment,but owners you should be ashamed ,the rooms we had one ground floor and one 1st floor. Ground floor room toilet practically situated on side wall,so called Balcony 10yrds away from restaurant and footpath couldn't open curtains for that reason,no storage space whatsoever lived out of case for duration of stay,no mini fridge weather in 90s no coffee machine these are basic amenities ,no plug sockets,door wouldn't lock properly, room was cleaned daily, repairs to hotel not done by tradesmen everything just painted over, shameful for the price of room. 1st floor room was no better old run down, shower and toilet area looked years old ,dirty curtains muggy smell outside on balcony falling apart, no fridge again no coffee machine ,room safe had to pay for ? And just when you think it couldn't get any worse they charge for a bottle of $27 wine which was never removed from room shameful again tacky way of taking more money of you requested refund told it was done on two occasions no way that's coming back . Staff in general not very interested just playing games on line at reception

This is a place surrounded by a great spa very good restaurant and a cafe ,that’s the best bit. The hotel is run down, no mini fridge,no coffee machine, no plug socket, No wardrobe. we lived out of case for 4days the shower area looked 100 years old grubby curtains dull depressing owners should be ashamed of themselves. Whole interior needs rebuilding living of some sort of Victorian reputation, to make things even worse a very sly way of making more profit charging for wine which never had. no refund shame on management all in all 1-10 . The view from room102 no privacy facing the restaurant, the people were looking though my room window, never went on the balcony. Web site pictures. Very deceiving. As for the toilet was so small toilet roll holder was behind toilet it should not be a toilet. This applies to room 207 very poor. There will be no return for us.

The Riverview after Rockville The stay was great! We stayed three nights for rockville and it was much better than where we went last year. The breakfast at the cute cafe next door was delicious ( belgian waffles every morning😊 ) and the people were very friendly, huge shoutout to the lady there overnight! She was so kind and helpful and had the perfect energy! The only thing holding back on 5 stars is the fact that there wasn't a fridge in the room, especially given how much it cost to stay there. Might come back next year but the fridge thing might make us go somewhere else :(.

I love a historic and pink hotel. I loved reading about this property's history. The nautical room on the 3rd floor was lovely and looked at the river and draw bridge. I enjoyed the spa pedicure service that came with an hour in the spa's mineral hot pool with a glass of bubbly too. The restaurants on site were also lovely. The whole town of NSB was very gluten free friendly. The hotel was on a main strip that had a lot of restaurants and shops (I loved the Christmas Store shop) on the way to the beach. An enjoyable and doable walk. The inside of the hotel lobby was nicely decorated and had the cutest gift shop items. We also enjoyed the heated pool.
