This hotel is the worst I've ever seen. The outside and lobby was ok, but the moment we stepped off the elevator, all you smelt and saw was mold. It was hot and muggy on the floor. Entire walls and room doors covered in mold. The ac vent and wall was full of mold, and they painted over the mold in the room. Our room door would not close and lock completely. There were no towels in the room, the pillows were filthy and disgusting, and the staff and customer service was pathetic. They showed no care or concern as we attempted to resolve our issues. This hotel should not be open, and people should not have to pay hard earned money to sleep in a mold infested hotel room. This is a serious health hazard. We did not stay one night in that hotel. We packed our bags and left. While waiting to notify the front desk about no towels and dirty pillows, there were 2 ladies checking in they were on the same floor as us. They went to their room, and before we got towels and went back to our room, they were coming back off the elevator, highly pissed off as we were too. This hotel is not close to Bourbon Street as advertised, and the building is a polished turd. I recommend staying elsewhere besides this run-down disgusting mold pit. We got an Uber to go to Bourbon street and have a good time and was told that we are in the middle of the hood in a ********** and drug infested area and people cars are broken into and stolen. We could not enjoy ourselves comfortably while on Bourbon Street after finding out about the area we were staying in, so we left Bourbon Street, packed our bags, and left. The guy at the front desk stated we had to talk to a manager about a refund. We called the manager next morning and could not get in contact with the manager to get a refund. Not to mention, this was my girlfriends birthday weekend. We wanted to spend in New Orleans, and we did not get to enjoy it. Instead, we drove 3 hours back home due to pure disappointment.
