Holiday Inn Express - Neptune, an IHG Hotel

Place was clean staff very friendly and breakfast was great.

Hotel was clean, 10 mins from beach and in a great location. Will visit again!

Hotel charged me twice. I paid when I booked using trip.com and when I left the hotel they charged my card again.

Was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. They were working directly under our room at 8am on a sunday. Hammering and power tools and then the fire alarm went off and was told by the people in the hallway we had to evacuate. Was just a horrible morning. Consumers appreciate the fact that you want to improve your facility but please be mindful of your guests staying there especially on a weekend. The reason why we even stayed over night was to have a good nights rest after along Saturday evening. So it really was horrible to be woken up to banging and power tools when all I wanted was a good nights rest.

Very nice hotel, helpful staff, had a nice spread for complimentary breakfast. Worth your stay.

My $50 security deposit hasn’t been released and is been several days since they told me it will be at my bank account within 7 business days

Communication with front desk staff is difficult at best… staff is clearly lacking in basic customer service skills and my brief exp w female GM Dominique was honestly the most abusive, agressive treatment I’ve ever received at ANY HOTEL.PERIOD…. I was a guest here at IHG express On Route 66 in Neptune for almost a month as my father’s health was deteriorating in a Local LTC facility I was working tirelessly to remove him from despite their every action to undermine my efforts…. Suffice to say it was not a vacation and I was only seeking a quiet clean accommodation to retire to at night…. This was not possible due to the ongoing partiers in adjoining rooms celebrating New Years at top volume in all common areas in king breakfast, hallways, and lobby… hotel did call police but matter never resolved at the time of my departure…. I was informed by GM Dominique that the Neptune Police had been called as I was 15 mins late in checking out ( I had paid over 4,500 for 3.5 weeks in this outdated roadside truck stop -type motel…. I cannot fathom how /why other guests rated IHG expresss Neptune as Good -very Good…. The only thing Good was my leaving the property for my last and final piece of luggage… AVOID this hotel: Front Desk/Management has an outright hostile tone towards guests —- these people Do NOT Deserve your business- u will regret booking this seemingly benign property …ProSpective guests… BEWARE! The one thing I called in advance to request was a "quiet room". And while they specifically gave us a room away from the elevator, vending, and ice machines, they unfortunately put us in a room facing the front of the hotel. The windows provided no protection from the continuous road noise through the night and early morning. I only got 3 hours of sleep, if that much, which for me is the most important "amenity" in a hotel. It's too bad that during the recent renovation the hotel didn't invest in better noise proofing for the road facing room windows. Otherwise, the renovated rooms are comfortable, nicely appointed, clean, and equipped with a new large LCD TV. While we didn't avail ourselves of the free "grab and go" breakfast (temporarily available during the renovation), it looked like there were good options and other guests seemed very satisfied.

I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and my review at that times was less than stellar however, this hotel has since undergone renovation, and it is lovely! The rooms have all been updated and are very clean and well appointed. Dove products are stocked in the bathroom, the beds are comfortable with very soft sheets. The front desk guy and the breakfast staff were very friendly. The free breakfast was good with a lot of your typical offerings and even fresh berries, too. Every channel that you could ever want is available on TV. A great stay, and I would recommend staying here.
