I don't agree with the one star reviews for this resort. No, it isn't 5 star but then it isn't claiming to be. It is, instead, a perfectly nice 3 star hotel and quite acceptable for a 1-2 night stay. I was only on Neil Island for 1 night and quite happy with the time that I spent at the TSG. It is right at the end of the island. Go any further and you are in the sea. That means that it is quiet because there is no passing traffic and there is a lovely little beach just beyond the hotel grounds. My room was quite adequate. Big bed, chairs and a small table. There was the usual kettle and tea/coffee supplies. The bathroom was a reasonable size. Although it had a geyser I still struggled a bit getting consistent hot water. As someone else noted there are lots of lights and also lots of light switches and finding the right ones to switch them on and off can be a bit of a challenge. The room also had a nice little deck out the front with table and chairs. The restaurant is pretty standard with a buffet and a la carte menu. The food was average, plentiful and seemed well priced. Overall this is a reasonable place and I would be happy to stay here again.

Very cooperative staff Beautiful property With beautiful location End of the island on Sitapur (the most beautiful) beach Perfect spot to stay in Neil no better location possible on the island Sunrise at 5 can be enjoyed from your room Front lawns with play area for kids Beach view from room Take a comfortable long walk in peaceful environment ***** the sitapur beach Food good but limited options Try vibes and dives next to hotel very trendy and tasty food options available

The worst experience I have ever had. While eating chicken sausages for breakfast, there was a cockroach in it and when I told the staff about it, he said that he will change it for me. Later, when I complained to the manager, he said that he will give you a 15% discount on the bill. I told him that I will write a review. Then he said that if you need anything else, I will fix it. These hotel owners are playing with the lives of people. Think 10 times before going to this hotel.

Lovely atmosphere, great staff and very good value
This was the nicest place I stayed in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and in fact one of the nicest places I have stayed in many years travelling. The wood built rooms had a lovely feel with nice balconies overlooking the garden. Staff were really helpful and they had a restaurant serving delicious food. They even had alcohol if desired and wifi in the reception, two things which are often not available in this part of the world. Oh yes, and there is also a beach at the end of the garden. Definitely recommended for a few days rest and recuperation.

Pathetic customer service. Room was okay. Called 15+ times, they never picked a call. Told network issues when asked them. Wifi was down. Paid 6132 for a night. Aura -6132

Location is not so good as sitapur beach no 3 is there. Completely dangerous beach, slippery stone blocks and garbage. So its just the hotel which looks pretty but hi no network there. It feels like punishment. You cant even call the taxi you booked prefer to stay near the rampur beach or sunset beach.

Location is excellent. Away from the normal crowded places and right next to the sea. One aspect is that due to naval station nearby there is no phone signal except for bsnl, but the property has wifi and making vowifi calls and other data calls are possible, but make sure you set your expectations on speed and availability based on the fact that this is a remote island

Room is very good. Food quality is very average. Restaurant staffs are very co-operative specially samrat and altaf. Overall 3. 5 out of 5.

Location and view is beautiful. Room interior is also beautiful. Mattress and bedsheets were soggy. Food is below average. Everything on the buffet menu was terrible except daal and rice.
