Silver Sand Beach Resort Neil

Amazing resort with a good size pool, very friendly staff especially Dipti in the restaurant who looked after us during our whole stay and always welcomed and served us with a smile. Her customer service was top notch. Would definitely recommend this resort as the staff makes you feel at home. Rooms including the bathroom were clean and well maintained. Only downside that we think they could improve on, is the stained sheets and towels.

We stayed at Silver sand beach resort for 2 days that promised a relaxing getaway, but my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The Not-So-Great Aspects 1. Room Issues: Upon arrival, I noticed that the door handle to my room was malfunctioning, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, the charging point near the bed was broken, making it difficult to keep my devices powered up. 2. Expectations vs. Reality: While the images of the rooms looked stunning online, I found that the actual rooms were somewhat outdated and did not live up to the expectations set by the marketing materials. 3. Food Quality: The food was just okay—definitely not worth the price we paid. I expected more from a resort setting. 4. Pool Location: The pool's location was another downside; it was situated too close to the washroom, and unfortunately, there was an unpleasant smell from the kitchen dump nearby. This really detracted from the overall experience. The Bright Side Despite these issues, there were some highlights that made my stay enjoyable: 1. Private Beach: The private beach was a real gem! It provided a beautiful escape and was perfect for unwinding by the water. 2. Exceptional Staff: The staff were friendly and attentive, with Sandip Bera standing out for his exceptional service. His positive attitude truly enhanced our experience. 3. Soothing Music: The ambiance of the resort was lovely, with soothing music playing throughout evening. Overall it didn't feel like a 4 star property.

A nice resort near Neil jetty island. The room's wall were made of majorly wood. Room wise it was ok ok not a huge fan of wooden wall. The resort has access to private beach, not much can be done but still it provides a scenic view. Restaurant & bar were nice, the variety of food options and pricing was reasonable. Only issue i faced was the path to resort. It was all broken and bumpy.

Situated in the lap of nature. Enjoyed a lot in swimming pool with romantic music program in the evening. Cottage was great with lush green garden, you can get access to their private beach. Staffs are always ready to make your stay comfortable. It was very memorable stay in silver sand...

Good rooms, clean bathrooms, room facilities (glasses, kettle) etc. Parathas for lunch were very tasty with a yoghurt and pickle accompaniment. Breakfast was a good spread too. The planning of the site was very appealing, beautiful gardens and stroll down to the beach with a number of hammocks and long swings off the tall trees (fun!). Wooden loungers and straw canopies with lights - picture perfect with clear waters. Yes I'd stay here again.

Not for me…. After a disastrous stay at Silver Sand Sea Princess I was dreading this stay just as much! I really missed a beat when checking in as I hadn’t paid for the room so should’ve just cut my losses and stayed elsewhere. Unsurprisingly the WiFi wasn’t working when I arrived (same as the other Silver Sand Sea Princess) yet they have WiFi to take payment! Staff on reception couldn’t care less that you can’t get online. The woman even laughed when I said all I wanted to do was send a message to my husband to let him know I was ok (travelling solo). It took for the general manager to let me log onto his personal WiFi to send the message which I appreciated- thank you. I had requested a high floor room and this is what I was allocated. Sadly I wasn’t informed I would be sharing it with pigeons ratching around in the roof all day and then when they went to bed the bats came out! Sad to say sleep was extremely deprived that night 👎 Next day I requested to move to a ground floor room which I don’t like when I’m staying alone but at least I could have a decent nights sleep. My request was accommodated and that room was much quieter. 👍 However I did decide to move to another hotel for my last night as there’s not much to do in that area and I was bored stiff. On a positive the beach was nice and relaxing, food in the restaurant was good and staff (apart from Reception) were smiley and friendly. The 3 stars are for the food, staff and accommodating my room change.
