"Nice hotel, rooms are clean and spacious. Service on the resort is great. Resort has 3 swimming pools and beachfront. However, the beach was not clean, was a lot of garbage on the beach. Maybe due to a season, we couldn’t swim in the ocean. Overall our stay was pleasant. The main restaurant had strong understanding of dietary restrictions and was able to provide us gluten free meals, including gluten free bread."

"The design of this low-end hotel by the sea in Negombo is very low-end. There are three rooms on the first floor with direct access to the beach lawn. The sea breeze and the beach are calm and comfortable. There are shy squirrels and black cranes walking and hatching eggs. The room has ingenious visual and practical designs, which is suitable for lying down and soaking in the hotel. Dinner at Bluetan Restaurant is 100rmb per person, the taste is good, and the lobster is fresh. The waiter is gentle and the check-in is a little slow for 40 minutes. The mosaic of the swimming pool is a little peeling, which is easy to scratch your feet"

"Location: Easy to find, navigation was accurate. Service: Family-run guesthouse. The owner is American and kindly moved our car to make room for us, worried we wouldn't be able to park. Facilities: Swimming pool, the kids played there for a while. Room: There was a drying rack! We washed several days' worth of clothes. Meals: This was our second-to-last night in Sri Lanka. We left early the next morning to return the car, so we didn't order breakfast. Two shortcomings: The blankets didn't have covers, leading to reasonable suspicion that they hadn't been changed. In short, my usually thick-skinned companion complained of intense itching, and even someone from northern China who can go two days without changing clothes insisted on changing out of their T-shirt after getting up. The kids, even in short sleeves, scratched themselves until they were red. I didn't feel itchy at all while wearing long sleeves and pants. The price of 400 was inflated."

"It was already past 9pm when we landed in Colombo, so we found a moderate hotel near Negombo to spend the night. Take an Uber from the airport to the hotel and it will take about 20 minutes to arrive. The hotel is in a small alley, about 4 floors up, and there is no elevator. The unique environment at the beach is a bit humid, and the same is true in the room. There is a small balcony, which is quite comfortable to sit on in the morning. Breakfast is still okay, I can get used to it. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. There are many dogs on the road, so don't mess with them."
