Our room was spotless and exactly as pictured on the website. The owner lives onsite and was available to help at all times. It truly felt welcoming. The beach is just across the street and our room had a water view. We would happily stay here again.

Stayed here overnight after a trip to Block Island. When people mention motel it makes you think twice about staying. This place is clean, has all the basic room amenities. Front desk people were very helpful and accommodating . They have a little nook for bagels and coffee that’s just fine since the area has a lot of quality restaurants. We would love to stay here again. The public beach is right across👍👍👍

The hotel is under new ownership-and were a lovely family. We stayed two nights.Have been visiting Narragansett and Scarborough beach works for us. The beach has Easy accessible for older folks and great clean facilities. Have stayed at the anchor inn down the street many times and like that you can walk right into the beach. However I preferred the Scarborough Hotel. Nice breakfast, coffee, water, and they sell ice. Microwave nice little setup with fridge and coffee and coffee maker. Nice wide porch with a great view. We were waiting for an Uber that didn’t show and the owner dropped us at Spain restaurant for our dinner reservation.

I’m always nervous about staying at roadside motels, but we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable our room was. Smelled clean, comfortable beds, everything in working order. Location right across from a lovely beach. Would stay here again for sure.

The location is the draw to this hotel, as it is direclty across the street from the beach. That was the reason for the stay and willingness to pay the higher price. You can park there prior to check-in and after check -out. We threw our stuff on the beach cart and crossed the street. That was great. Nice people at service desk and they offer coffee and bagels in the morning. Room is average and clean. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and mattress old. I was sleeping in a worn down hole. Also good location to Coast Guard House area and some nice restaurants.

im not sure what issue other guests had, complaining about the rooms, but we had the front full oceanview room and it was clean and everything worked properly. we had a nice sitting area right outside our room to enjoy the view and the breeze. the grounds were kept nice and there are a few picnic tables as well to use. the owners were friendly and attentive to any questions we had before check in. there is coffee in the room and in the office. we would stay here again.

My husband is a 100% permanent and total combat, Vietnam, disabled veteran, and we travel with a service dog. When I attempted to make a reservation at the Scarborough Beach Hotel, I was told I needed to send them an ADA compliance certificate for our dog; according to law, this is illegal. I informed them that what they were asking was unlawful, but that I was willing to send corroborating documentation, and then was told they would be a $75 cleaning fee added to the cost of the room. I can only reason that this is because of our dog. Our service dog is trained, does not bark, and is well behaved. The Scarborough Beach Motel is a disgrace and not a place for those who served and sacrificed their safety and future well-being for their country.

The motel is clean, renovated and the staff are superb. The rooms were comfortable and I loved the dehumidifier in the room. They pay attention and it shows. It was quiet during our stay. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
