Briefly I lived a nigthmare This hotel contacted me to propose an ugrade: a better hotel (Relais il Monastero di santa teresa) The building itself is really beautiful but...no reception, no staff after 8pm After having discovered at 10pm that right in front of my window there was a bar playing music extremely loudly, I contacted the staff via whatsapp. They told me that night was the Notte Bianca when all the restaurants, bars, etc were open and allowed to play music, etc etc. I was there on a businees trip, it was clearly specified on my reservation. I needed to rest. I asked the to be moved o another room or another hotel (as they run a couple): No way. They told me they were trying to reach the local police but no answer and they did nt know at what time the music would have stopped. I told them I needed to rest or I had to leave to hotel - they did nothing exept telling me they could finally talk to someone that said the music would be over soon... At 11.30 approx I told them again i was leaving the hotel and the guy told me by phone finally he was coming and check the situation: at that time I was already out of the building, I made a couple of phone calls and finally found a room in Gallipoli (30 minutes drive) The company I work for paid for 2 rooms for the same person (me) for the same night. The day after they called me and told me the noise was not their fault and they asked the municipality for a refund as many of the clients complained the same way I did. I said ok, you wait for the refund from the city, i want to be refunded asap as I did not get what I expected and I had to leave as they could not manage the situation properly. I told them clearly. I'm not gonna write any bad review but I need to be refunded. I waited 2 weeks. Then I send an email ì, it was the 14th of June. So far, no one replied. This is how serious they are. Now, i don't even care about refund but please do not book there nor in the Monastero di santa Teresa, they are not serious at all.
