Its a clean hotel with nice employees

The hotel was over sold so I was sent to another hotel with the promise they would pay for the new hotel and provide Titanium compensation. None of this happened. Hotel management will not respond to emails. I continued to stay at the hotel during future stays. They do not stand behind what they promise.

Award Winning: Worse Marriot location I have EVER stayed in! Do NOT stay here. Here's the short list of my room problems: the window faced a wall; the sink was cracked; the shower door handle was floppy & loose; there were holes in the wall; the sheet rock in the ceiling was separating; holes from prior hangings were patched with mashed potatoes or something like it; the room smelled; it was noisy. Do I need to go on? How they POSSIBLY do not renovate a room this bad is completely beyond me. I come to Naperville frequently for work and this will be an everlasting NOPE for me.

This place is a you-know-what hole. Do not waste your time or money. There is a Courtyard across the street that I should have gone to. Room had an odor in it, the shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor, the sink had a huge crack in it, the ac made a lot of noise and it looked like the last person who stayed there, kicked the you know what out of it. I got a rash of opinion when I asked for extra towels, due to the water leaking, not even a pen in the room to take down notes.

Plumbers worst nightmare. Was originally checked into first floor. upon entry of the room, the floor was saturated with water, and there could have been quite some damage to the unit. Was then checked into third floor, and plumbing also did not work and toilet did not flush. The high pressure jet flush system had failed, and seemed that it was original hardware and all rusty. Had to use first floor public restroom. AC was also dirtly and broken grates. Maintenance seems to be an issue at this hotel.

Doesn't deserve Marriott branding. Worst hotel stay ever. Don't stay at this hotel. I noticed the hotel was dated and tired-looking. Only was given one key card at check-in because " we ran out of cards." The worst was yet to come... Had to change room at 11 pm when as I was getting into the bed noticed that there was dirt and hair on the sheets. Thankfully, only there one night.

Great location. But that’s it. Hotel is old, tired, understaffed. Lacking in amenities. Clean but not clean enough. There was no wifi available which wasn’t communicated upon check in. No apology and no estimate of when it would be working. Not good if you’re trying to work and need WiFi. The location is great but also other hotel hotels in this area. I’m a Marriott/Bonvoy member for many years. I won’t be back to this property.

I have been a member of Marriott Rewards / Bonvoy for many years, and our stay (5/23-27/24) at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Chicago Naperville was the ABSOLUTE WORST! The service was horrendous likely due to understaffing, cleaning was non-existent and customer service or responsiveness from the manager, Thomas Wilson was unacceptable. The room was mediocre and there were signs of mold and the ceiling leaking in the bathroom, and wood rot near the windows. We were there for 4 nights and although we requested housekeeping, none was received during our stay. There was NO remote in the room and this was brought to the attention of the front desk staff 3 TIMES. The hallway smelled of a combined vomit - disinfectant smell. The breakfast was blah to say the least. It was clearly not stocked and staff was not available to re-stock. A guest actually had to go in the back to retrieve napkins and plates. There was a mess on the counter (cereal, oatmeal, waffle batter) that was not cleaned. We passed on the breakfast due to limited options and concerns with sanitation / cleanliness. One morning, we noticed the front desk person was doing her best to keep up with the front desk and the breakfast area as no one else was available. Fortunately we only were there to sleep or we would have switched hotels immediately. When we returned home, there was an additional $185 charge on my credit card. I have called the hotel multiple times a wk since we returned. Either no one answers the phone or messages are left for Thomas to return my call to address the extra charge and he has yet to call. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of response and overall condition of the hotel (motel?). We will definitely never stay there again and we will ensure our family / friends don't either. I hope this reaches the attention of someone that can act on the above concerns esp since Thomas has not even attempted to address them. I would appreciate a response.
